Hiya, my name is Stel. Over the past 12 months I have had the strange feeling that somebody or something is trying to make contact with me. I often get major "shivers", that are like shivers when you are cold, only these are very big ones. They start at the top of my head and travel down to my feet, only to start from the top again. They make me visibly shake and all the hair covering my body stands on end. My partner is often with me, and I ask him if its cold, and he says "not really". These experiences are not at all nasty, in fact they are very pleasant, they are not unlike having an orgasm which is intensified a few hundred times. Does anyone know whats going on?
I had this happen to me when I was first opening up spiritually and psychicly. It is a delicious feeling, and I think it is related to the kundalini energy (at the base of the spine). It happens automatically for some reason. You can't "will it" to happen. I think it has some kind of purifying function. I used to say to myself "wow, this is better than sex!".
Thanx for the reply Goddess. I wish I was "open", I would absolutely love that. I used ato attend a spirtualist church, and would love to be able to do the things that they could do. I only had one message through the mediums, which was the one I wanted. I'm sure that "something" is happening though.
I have had the "shutte" feeling ince I was a small child. My family is aware of it and has always been-but not in the Spiritual Sense. My mother even took me to my pediatrician when I was young because of it and they said they couldn't really tell what it was-but it was harmless. I do believe it is the energy within U. Sometime this energy allows you to feel Spirits and other energies around u. Sometimes it opens up pathways when u meditiate and u feel it at awkward times. I know I feel it most when I am in-tune with my whole self. Soemtimes I feel it as something is about to happen. And no-it doesn't have to be cold. Most of the time it isn't -but it can happen that way as well. Because u do get the Chill or shutters when u feel cold. But this, this is something altogether different and more special. I am glad to know for sure I am not the only one with this-but then again I never felt I was.
Thats what I thought too Summer, I actually started speaking "mentally" when it happens. I aint mad honest !!! I am gonna check out that kundalini energy thingy, see what its all about. Thanx peeps (((((big hugz)))))
