Does anyone else own a pet rabbit? My rabbit's name is Oreo, I rescued him when he was a baby (someone dropped him off in front of Petco and no one wanted to adopt him)...I like to share snacks with my rabbit (we love Pop-Tarts!) and take him outside for walks when the weather is nice
Hi! My all white bunny is named Mr. Bigglesworth. My son and I found him, I think it was like the day before Easter a few years back at a local college campus. He has a tattoo in his ear that says "N-15." He is cute and sweet. I think he has the hots for my old cat as he will dance around her in circles. He drives her nuts but I think she really likes him deep down. He loves raw cut potatoes and carrots and apple slices and bunny food and I need to get him more hay. They love hay! He also loves tortilla chips and raisin bran and stuff of that ilk. I actually put plastic down on all the carpeting in my new little rental house so I could keep him here and let him run around. Rabbits are great, huh? :^)
They're awesome! Your rabbit sounds like fun... I hope to get Oreo another rabbit friend because I'm so busy during the day with work and school and it would be great if he had some company. I only get to spend lots of time with him at night and on weekends. But we manage and have lots of fun when we do spend time together
Yeah. I love him. I hate to say this, play favorites and all, but the cat was kind of foisted upon me. I have had her for going on 18 years! She can be a nag, really. I love her but have felt closer to other cats in my life. Meanwhile my rabbit is quite into her. She acts annoyed by him but I can tell that he kind of brightens her life and keeps her company. Your sweet bunny probably does need some bunnicular companionship. Be careful though or you might have bunnies coming out of your ears! :^)
I have a bunny! His name is Lepuri Lapoosh. [I call him Poosh for short] Hes a dwarf/dutch rabbit. He's quite adorable. Hes a very strange lagamorph however. He licks me. A lot. Like, baths. For hours. Hes like a dog when it comes to licking. He licks more then my dog does actually. And he only seems to lick me. Hes quite strange. But I love him a lot<3333
YAAAAAAY! A bunny thread! Im here! hehe We have 6 bunnies, although its soon to only be 5 and probably 4 soon after Which is a long story. Basically we got hit by a nasty bunny illness. But we love all our babies so so much They used to all be house buns, now because of the sickness weve had to split them up and we only have 3 indoors. We have Joey- An unknown breed. He is brown all over and is massive. Something crossed with one of those giant bunnies no doubt. We rescued him. He was the only brown baby in his litter and nobody wanted him Fae- A tiny dwarf hotot with blue eyes. Shes my little girl and we raised her from a tiny baby. Shes ever so clever and does loads of tricks Luna- Who we only just rescued, shes a silver mini rex Sun- Another mini rex, but shes orange. Before she got ill she was a really curious active bunbun Charlie- Our 10 year old group leader, who has been hit very badly by it all. Shes a grey French lop And Macy, a lovely dutch/lionhead cross, who we are giving up to a shelter tomorrow (the best shelter run by the kindest most understanding lady) for her own protection from the illness. Im going to cry so much Yay for bunnies! I never knew i would grow so close to them, but they have taught me so much about respect and love and not caring when my jeans have been chewed on arty: You should post a pic of your Oreo baby
How sweet! And sad of course. People have no idea how cool and quirky and individualistic rabbits are. Especially if they are stuck outside in a hutch all the time.
so i got enough bunnies to make a family and they just live in a rock pile at the edge of the yard . they care for one another . i just keep a max on their population for them . under a banjo moon , they dance .
I agree with you Lustandlove! Rabbits do not belong in hutches all their life! Especially in the winter! If people just observe their pet rabbit being its curious adorbale self, Im sure theyed think twice before they put there bunny in a hutch out side, vulenerable to predators, weather etc.
Yes! I've heard that rabbits have become sort of a hip new pet these days. I would never have known if I hadn't found Mr. Bigglesworth at a college campus. He is quite the sweet and entertaining little friend. :^)
I like bunnies, and cats, and dogs. Not that I think I'm better, but they are insolent swine tha deserve a politcal shove up the ass, like no clawing time and their fair turn, which they should have the right to do so. Time. Honour. Presidency and Leniency Behave well or weekend is not a good tomorrow.
I love rabbits. Have never had one though. In the summer, I feed a couple of wild rabbits that live in the area.
I love bunnies! I had a pet rabbit as a teen,so cool thought he was one of the cats, litter trained and everything. My sister was allergic and we had to give him away. I have wanted another since, but I am not sure how my dog would do with one.
It's so great to find so many rabbit lovers! I love when my rabbit does those random backflips out of pure joy (it's so funny) And I don't mind the denim chewing...makes my jeans look vintage I don't think my mom will let me have anymore pets...I would have to wait to get a friend for Oreo, probably when I move out (after I finish college)
i have two english spot rabbits. they r named neville and joy. they are fucking awsome. wat can i say.
