I need to get motivated!!!

    I KNOW that exercise is the only way I am going to reach the results I want in a reasonable way, and feel better. I feel bad about what I weight, but I know that when I was in the BEST shape of my life, and totally healthy, I did not weigh THAT much less than I do right now. I need to lose some fat, yes, but mostly I need to start moving my body more and toning up.

    But I just keep not doing it...making excuses, like I"m tired, I don't have time, etc....

    I know I"ll feel better if I start doing it. The endorphines are amazing I remember that. And dieting alone isn't really working for me...its just putting me in a bad mood and making me wanna eat more.

    SOOO help me out lol how do you get your ass in the gym? Esp. when you are all busy and super-stressed? I KNOW I should just do it and I'll feel and look better if I do, but at the end of the day I always wanna just go home, drink, and watch TV. And in the morning I just wanna sleep. During the day? Heh its sad I'll take the elevator when I"m only going two floors up.

    Aside from barating yourself for having a chubby stomach (which btw is so not helping lol) what else do you do to get yourself to just DO it? (pardon the Nike slogan lol).

    my motavation is my friends i love going to the gym with them and working out together. we push each other and have fun being together.

    god, i hear you!
    It is the worst trying to walk or run in Colorado in winter. I can't breathe well in cold.
    Do you snowshoe or nordic ski? Eldora is on the bus line (yeah, RTD).
    what about belly dance? There's a studio over in Longmont with pole dancing and hula hoop dance. Lessi is pretty cool, too.
    CORE has all kinds of dance.
    The city has some great classes at the fitness centers. I find that if I fork over the bucks, I make myself go!

    good idea but I don't have the bucks to fork over (broke as hell right now)

    But I just decided I am GOING to the gym tommorrow (free one on campus). If I work up a sweat, I'll probably be MORE able to focus on all the homework I've been putting off anyway.

    So yeah tommorrow, after my last class, I'm gonna go to the study abroad office first cause I need advice on applying...but after that, I am going to get my ass on the treadmill and run as much as I can.
    After that, I'm hitting the library.
