What makes a person considered a hippie?

well here at the stoner's lounge you can talk about anything! I think he meant that there are tons of threads like these in the "hippie" forum. But they are always so popular, and pages and pages long.

What most people consider a hippie today is nothing that it once was.

 

most so called "hippies" today are really just posers , theres no point in trying to re-create something that didn't work in the first place.

im called a hippie everyday cus i look like and do smoke weed. it has shit to do with looks though. its how u think. i agree with above guy.

 

kids think i'm a hippie simply cause i joined the green party, smoke dope, and like hiking. i guess these are some of the things hippies do, but i don't really know if that makes me a hippie. i sorta fit in the category tho and i don't actually mind being called a hippie.

 

Hippies to me are people that never wash and never listen to "The System". I also agree with the state of mind comment...
