Have any of you dealt with any sort of academic anxiety besides the more common 'test anxiety'? I used to deal with procrastination by starting assignments, realizing they weren't so bad after all, and just sort of finishing them at a natural pace. Now when I start an assignment, or even start thinking about one, I usually end up panicking. And not just on the more difficult assignments. It's almost like I feel that the world will end if I miss an assignment or am somehow disapproved of by a teacher, but shouldn't that make me want to do the assignment? As it is, I can't even get near the material.

I've searched for information on academic anxiety, academic phobia, and whatnot, but I can't find anything relevant. If you know of some key words, or some information to give me somewhere to start, it would be greatly appreciated.
