So i started these tiny locks bout a week ago and im just wondering of you got any tips for making them look good in the end :)
I used wax but stopped since many people told me not to.
They are kinda dry and frizzy, something (exept from wax) i can do about it?
Hope they will turn out alright :) Im not so in to this posting picture thing, but hope it will work :p

Leave your hair alone. Wait a year. You'll be rocking some badass dreads. Use really hot water to get all the wax out.

ok thanks for the tips :)
about washing the hair, im afraid they will look like crap after i had a shower with them =/ Some say you should wash your dreads after a week and then every 2-3 days, and others say you shouldnt wash them until they are REALLY dreaded up...

What do you guys think? =)

I really want them to look nice... :p

As long as you use a shampoo that leaves no residue it shouldn't really matter too much how often you wash them... I think most people here wash about once a week, but it really depends on your hair and how quickly it gets dirty/oily.

It might look like crap after showering, but then dreads might look like crap for up to a year or more before they look good...

Your dreads won't look 'nice' for at least six months. Be patient and leave them alone!

dude, they won't be "dreaded" for at least a couple of months. it takes a while for these things to happen!!! and they will look like shit after you wash them, guaranteed. mine still do, and i'm at 6 months. they start looking better a few days after i wash them tho!

your dreadies are new... don't DO anything to them except wash once a week or so. not more than twice a week. just have patience. they will look really good in time!

Ok thanks =) Got my knottyboy order yesterday and washed my hair with the shampoo and put in the tightening gel, most of the the locks got tighter but the one in the pack got big and frissy :p they are the newest ones (tooked like 2 weeks with all of them) and im afrain they will gett stucked in eachother, you think rubberbands would help for getting the shape of them again?

    Or you got another suggestion?

again, thanks for the help, really apprechiate it =)

Do nothing. Leave your hair alone. DONT put rubberbands in, they'll hurt alot more that they'll help.
You dont need tightening jel, you dont need to DO anything to your hair except keep it clean.

Do nothing, learn patience, and don't look in a mirror for about a year

then look in the mirror and say "wow, my hair is awesome!"

honestly, nothing works them better than time...maybe some salt water here and there.
