Im looking for some recommendations. I'm in kind of a musical rut, I can't find anything I like anymore. Does anyone have any albums/artists that they really like from ANY genre.

Some new good metal is Sanctity. They rock the fuck out. And they are from my Hometown of Asheville NC. They are some of the coolest mothefuckers out there.

 

we came with broken teeth (grindcore)

atmosphere (rap/hip-hop)

infected mushroom- I wish (psychedelic)

 

Every time I visit someone's house I like to take a look at their music collection. So far I haven't found any two people with the same collection, not even 50% the same. Granted that I've seen people that like the same artists, but the discs they have by them are mostly different. This being said, I can't see how anyone can possibly suggest something unless you're very young and haven't listened to all that much music yet, along with what Jadesmon810 posted,,,

well right now I'm listeniing to allot of underground hip-hop, dubstep, instrumental hip-hop, reggae, some old sixties garage rock, dnb and some indian music.

this is a given, but they truly are an amazing band that i keep getting more and more out of
i could list many other bands from the 60s and early 70s but ill leave that alone for now and assume you know about them

2. Massive Attack
WARNING: They are intense when your realy stoned.
very fun to meditate to, probably the most chill band i know

3. RJD2
Awwwwwesome dj in generall
some great songs are Beyond the Beyond, Ghostwriter, and Work it Out
hes also very chill

4. Modest Mouse
have some great lyrics
awesome music some deep stuff
