Beer in the Bong?

Man last night someone said jokingly to put beer in the bong instead of water at some get together and well sure enough they did and let me tell you WTF? Lol i swear man I was seeing everyone going in circles and shit crazy stuff. Just wondering has anyone else tried this and felt different I kno I did

 

I might be wrong.. but I think the only anyone would do that would be for the taste. Other then that, if I'm right, I think it defeats the purpose of a bong.

Since the water is used to filter the bad shit.. and well, beer (containing alchohol) won't filter those chemicals.. making it useless.

Or wait.. is it that alchohol absorbs the thc? I don't know anymore.. anyways.. I'm sure someone on here knows more then me and will be glad to explain.

 

I was actually at a kegger 2 nights ago and we put beer in the bong. It foamed up into your mouth when you hit it, which was madd cool. Also, in response to the comment above, the water doesn't really filter much of the tar out, it just cools down the smoke so you can take more...

why would the presence of alcohol make the water any less effective? I mean beer is 90 some odd percent water.

Yes using a bong serves to cool the smoke and filter out some of the nasty shit.

 

We squeezed juice from a watermelon into a bong once. Tasted fruity.

 

kool-aid and flavored stuff like that works very nice in bongs along with some ice but na man im pretty sure alchohol vapors are absorbed with the smoke it has to trigger something cause I smoke everyday and I was trippin of like 8 bong rips and a joint which never happens. Crazyness worth a try

 

Alcahol dissolves thc so putting beer in a bong is possibly the most dumbest idea ever. IT would significantly reduce the thc you are inhaling and be a waste of bud.

I have thought about putting vodka or high percentage alcahol in the bong and using it to dissolve the thc to make an instant drinkable high. In theory it would work but I havent bothered to do it.

 

lol last night at a party we brought a 2ft bong outside and filled it up with snow... ir work pretty good after you got used to it

 

I am going to disagree. The amount of contact with the THC and beer is very minimal time wise. I don't believe a significant change could occur in this time period. Plus with the low percentage of booze in the mixture, primarily water, the solution would be come saturated quite quickly and thus in the long run there'd be MINIMAL loss.

 

There was one time when we just threw a bud in a pipe, stems, seeds and all and starting smoking it. Then the seeds starting popping. We looked at them and a couple of them looked like tiny little white kernals of popped popcorn. We laughed our asses off.

We used to pack bongs with snow all the time, and yes the water is just there to cool the smoke. I've never liked owning a bong becuase it's just gets too nasty smelling, and when you use beer in it then it smells worse.

 

Damn either you need to lay off or your wasting weed cause i smoke everyday it and it take me like 2-3 hits off a bong to get high.

 

I've used mouthwash with alcohol in it and i get just as high, if not a different high.
I tend to get a head rush if you taste the alcohol. Also the flavor is awesome cause it taste like you just brushed your teeth.

 

Smoke everyday man I got pretty decent tolerance sometimes a joint wont even hit me.

 

i have know idea if beer will mess you up in a bong but keep shooting for the stars cause your bound to come across somthing interesting im sure of it

 

ya happened this friday I was with the stars for a while

 

for one, beer has about 5%-10% alcohol. and alcohol is used to extract THC for oil. so if you don't mind a few crystals floating away, then go for it.
for two, old beer is the worst thing to smell after waking up with a hangover. remember how bad it is with just water, imagine how bad that thing would reek with old beer sticking to it.

 

Whats the point of wasting a good beer for nothing?

 

it just tastes and smells nasty with beer...and i love beer. the beer i buy doesnt deserve to go in my bong anyways. but using mouthwash is real nice, it feels real cool, like youre chewing minty gum. also i want to use gatorade or juice, cause i have before and it tastes great, but my old roomate convinced me that the sugar would be harsh on the glass if you dont wash it out when youre done. thinking back though, i cant imagine it doing much harm at all, maybe just a pain to clean.

 

Gotta agree with this^^^ but have to DISagree with the statement that smoking a beer-filled bong would get you any higher than usual. again the low alcohol concentration in beer is not enough to form vapors that you breath in. maybe ether...
