I don't smoke and I don't particularly want to smoke salvia.

Will Salvia still "work" if it is eaten (e.g in cookies, made into tea, etc)? And if so how will the effect differ from smoking it? (longer but less intense?)

IDK about in cookies and stuff but if you get ahold of whole leaves you can make a quid (google it or on erowid) and you can chew that. It takes a bit longer to achieve effects, but they last longer and have a different kind of trip than when you smoke it. Its not less intense, i would just describe it as ?more user friendly?, anyways, hope it helped.

Yeah do the quid thing. Don't swallow it there's no point cause your stomach acids will destroy the active chemical as far as I know.

ya just hold it (your spit/leaf juice) in your mouth for like idk... as long as you can, storing the quid under your toung between chews, chew every like 5 seconds so it doesent break apart as quickly. Look on erowid for how to make and use a quid, or google it.
