Why you people keep talking about the war? Dont know your voice dont matter? It does yes, but not on such a topic as this. You cant be heard. You dont hear Osama bin Laden being talked about anymore. Soon the war will be the same and the government has won once again. Until the time comes when shit hits the fan, now i mean HITS, you cant do anything. Keep tryin for i am. Nothin going to happen though. Sad but true.
Yeah... But why can't people still talk about it? It's a topic of conversation. A bit better of a topic than the weather, I might add.
All im saying is its good to talk. Though we wont be heard. We havent for generations. The government has so much control all we do is bitch about it. WE DONT TAKE ACTION WE ONLY POST know what im sayin?
I agree, let's see some action. I was gonna protest, but I just popped this bag of popcorn, and I have to return this movie in the morning, so....
No, I mostly climb trees. How about you? Do much hiding? Maybe a little hiding behind a monitor, and a little lecturing?
You sound almost helpless to do anything about our current state of war. But here are plenty of anti-war activists out there picketing each day trying to put an end to all the bloodshed You too could be out there in front of the whitehouse demonstrating under the ever watchful eyes of the capitol police and the secret service Hotwater
IT WONT DO SHIT In front of the white house sayin what "this is wrong and this is that and blah blah blah" They dont care what you think. They dont care what you say. They dont care about you. Money is money and in this world in the end.... thats it. I want a change but until we all rage out into the streets with AK-47s we cant do shit.
I think that focusing attention on the media could make a real difference. Culture jamming. Restoring a "free and unfettered press," which we do not have now.
I agree, and I don't think that it's worth it. You Americans don't realize how good you got it. There are some things that really should be changed, and there is corruption in the government... but you will never achieve anything better by taking your AKs out to the streets. Why don't you try to go out there and enjoy some of the things this society has to offer. I'm not defending it in any way... but you might as well have some fun instead of just sitting there scheming a revolution.
You have to admit they do have a lot invested in Iraq including 4,000 dead, 30,000 injured US service men. And nearly a trillion dollars in currency They’re not likely to walk away from that short of some radical muslim group triggering a nuke in downtown Baghdad hotwater
I agree, evil 13. All of this is getting under my skin. Like maybe its time to break out the bat cape again. I was pretty damned motivated there for awhile, prior to the last presidential "election." It is a rush to push the boundaries. Scary, adrenalizing, and addictive. I got buzzed by the cops with a carload of fliers at a local newspaper one night. They did not get out of their car. But then what I was doing was not illegal. I didn't get out of my car, either. I just drove slowly away. Later I got a wild hair and was out taping up fliers again that night. I had one of the cops show up behind me, tailgaiting me. He eventually raced past at high speed while I pulled over to the side of the road. Expressing yourself, being heard, feeling like a spy in Nazi America, can be addictive. If you want to know more check out my thread, The Boston T.V. Party.(And I'm probably old enough to be your dad. :^)
