Hip Forums Convention?

What would you all think of this? Would you be down for it? I would... how could we get it started? Where?

 

I think It would be an awesome idea. I'd be on the next plane to America if it was announced

Although would there be a big enough venue to hold all the forumers in? lol

 

well how many active forumers are here? Not just all that have ever registered, but the active ones. I'd say the most active would be Pressed Rat?

when i went to visit there, they had Lots of stadiums and stuff like that. for special events. so... yeah. =]

California sounds awesome! Hey, how about somewhere like Encinitas? Look it up! Beautiful beaches, great people, great place to hang out, lots of art and artists... not to mention my hometown.

Hey, if there ever is going to be one, I suggest Big Sur, Monterey area in Cali, would be a good place to hold it.

hey, if you guys want, we could hold it in Prescott, Arizona. That's where I live. We could hold in at the Square at Whiskey Row... or maybe at Watson Lake, or Granite Creek. I'd be glad to help organize it!

that would be awesome; set up a Hip Forums commune. I'd go for it; even do it in my apartment, though i doubt we could fit many people in a studio, plus I wonder what my bf would think...

awhile ago we had one . it was sorta ok weird actually meeting hairy people who might have an opinion about you from just your writing . we met at the u.s national rainbow gathering . having coffee around the kitchen fire was fine and good . maybe i am shy so didn't make a whole lot to say , so i just played the flute mostly . one woman was so freaked to look at me .

we named the camp

about all that's required is someone to host a campfire and a pot for cooking water and someone to make a sign so yooz knows somehows where is yooz are wow in ze real world . time : mid- june into july . this year's location : a forest in wyoming

 

Sounds good but where can we get the cheap flights and the tickets and where you going to hold it, i live in england we nearly always need tickets for these kind of things.

 

I wouldn't be too surprised if enough of us decided to go and do this, this summer, that an airline would offer us some sort of group discount prices or something or another.

 

Id be down for it. We would need a pretty big venue though.
