well can it? im getting tested soon but have SAT's saturday sop i wanted to take 40mgs of adderal to help me focus better. the tests i get are the basic 4 home drug test. weed, opiates, coke, and meth. erowid hasnt really given me a straight answer so i could use some help....
Yes, it will show up as meth if thats the only amphetamine they test for. If they test separately then it will just show up as regular amphetamine. either way, its not good for you . . .
Meth does not even show up as meth its shows up as a amphetamine like Daedalus says its in the Amphetamine family of drugs. On the bright side amphetamines do get out of your systum pretty quick it takes about 3 to 5 days. I know for myself all traces of Ampatamines and coke are out of my systum in about 2 to 3 days.
Who's giving you the home drug test? Yeah, since meth is part of the amphetamine family, it'll give a true positive. Purple ringer time?
those tests are basically TLC (thin layer chromatograpy), which test for the NIDA-5, and have specific Rf values for each class of drugs. meth won't differ much from adderall (which is a racemic mix fo amphetamine salts, and will show positive) on the test.
im real thin, 5 10 and 140 pounds, no muscle...just skin and bones. i only took 40 mgs, so you think it might be outta my system in 36 hours? erowid said it could be out in 1 day...
Also drink a shit load of water so you piss alot this will help clean your system even faster. If you can get cranberry juice get it also and drink alot it cleans out your system real good.
Deffinately causes false positive. Hospital found Meth in my bloodstream, never taken and suspicious pills, never done meth. Adderall does give u a false positive.
You’re completely right. I totally forgot about that. I went into a trauma room after a car accident and when the blood test results came back the doctor asked how much methamphetamine I had been using. I told him none; but that I was taking prescribed adderall (this was the truth). He was like "oh, ok" and asked who the prescribing physician was. I told him who it was and from then on they brought me adderall every morning for the duration of my stay in the trauma ward (I hid it all in my phone and took it all at once when I had to go to therapy on my last day there). I'm not sure, but I'm assuming they probably even used a real (gas chromatograph) test since it was in a hospital and it was blood that was tested. I could be wrong though . . .
