Okay, there is suppose to be an "Anti-Christ" and he is gonna take over the whole world, right? Well, I find it hard to believe that the first man who rules the world won't be called out as the Anti-Christ by millions. I mean, almost anyone who knows anything about prophecy knows that the Antichrist will be the first man to rule the whole Earth. So how can a mistake in his identity possibily occur with this information already in the public's hands? Ofcousre, a man of great evil will proceed the Antichrist's coming, as to confuse a great deal of people into thinking that the AntiChrist had already come. But, after studing the traits of the Anti-Christ and of Jesus, I have come to the conclusion that Jesus IS AND WILL BE the Anti-Christ to come. Bold I know, but they are suppose to do literally all the same things, and the only person I can see taking over the whole world without people thinking he is the Antichrist is Jesus himself. Compare the two and you will find striking simularites also. Jesus himself is the only possible canidate for the job of the Antichrist, think about it. If I was the Devil, that is who I would make the Antichrist, best damn trick ever. I makes perfect sense, Jesus tells his followers that they will be forgiven for their sins through him. Perhaps... or it is simply a way to let sin take over peoples lives and have them believe that they are right in the eyes of God. Serisouly, consider this.
people don't like george bush though the anti-christ is to be liked by all buuuuut.... if jesus is the anti-christ is messes up the second coming jesus is supposed to return, after the apocalypses when all the christens are "beamed" up to heaven or whatever and the only people left on the earth are the sinners, jesus then comes down with an army of angels and a sword of fire/light and kills off all the sinners or something like that...
suposing it isn't a person as such, but an institution or even simply a perspective/way of life. every revealer of organized belief, that guy a couple of milinea ago included, warned against the perils of fanatacism. thus the way i see it, isn't so much the guy himself, as much misunderstood by his so called fallowers as by the paranoid government that wronfully exicuted him, but the institutions of belief, established in his name. even saul of tarsus himself, the so called st paul, who lived and wrote his epistles, which make up a large part of fanatical 'christian' cannon, considerably AFTER the author of revilation was six feet under, this little detail having partialy sparked the violence that the first mycean confrence of whenever it was, 325 or so if i'm not mistaken, in many ways fits the discription. certainly those eviljellicals of today, who use the same jihadist retoric they justify their hatered of another belief, which is really just the next chapter of thier own, also more then adiquitely fill the bill. as does america's policies of the past 60 years of demonizing everything that doesn't kiss the ass of little green pieces of paper. is it not today's america, with it's attacks on its own civil liberties as well as those of every nation and effectively every living person, around the planet, that is doing its totally irrational best to spark some sort of armageddon, if only as an excuse for continuing to do so, almost, if not completely, the 'spitin image' of the very menace described? there are major problems with trying to take anything in any scripture literally, and i won't belabour them here, other then to mention in passing, that doing so, takes one a considerable ways off the subject the texts of beliefs were ever intended to imply or expound upon. anti-christ, or anti-any belief or religeon, is perhapse more then anything, a parable for what that or any religeous belief becomes when it is perverted by fanatacism. =^^= .../\...
Christ means annointed one. Referring to Judiastic annointing of their Messiach, come Zion. Such a being is really only for Jews. Jesus is the name of the being people are discussing here. Christians are those who have stolen the perogative of the Jews as to their own messiah. They, having created a new religion, as of thousands of years back, and spreading it, as based in 'Catholic' meaning 'universal' ideals about faith love and hope being shared buy all. This religion then being taken up by every Roman based western republic since the time of the inception of the Church around 300 CE. All this meaning nothing more than that streams of thought flow together to make a river. However, there is no outcome that is sure about where that river will go in time. Crazed prophets like The LaHayes, and Hal Linden (Late Great Planet Earth) and so on, are merely paranoiac fantasies, with absolutely no basis in any reality whatsoever, from anyones standpoint except from that of another paranoiac. It is unfortunate that symbols by their very nature as detailed glyphs tend towards liberal interpretation. The Book of Revelations never says Jesus is coming back, and neither do the other books of prophecy in the Old and New Testaments. Nowhere does it say Jesus will return. People merely infer that Jesus will return because they are attached to the notion that he was a God. The God. Which is ludicrous as any The God is all embrasing, and will include all beings as its children. The whole concept and story of the Second Coming is total hogwash. Ever seen hogwash? It means the mud hogs roll around in, all full of worms and shit. I suggest that those who are so attached to this world that they crave it to become a paradise for their own chosen ends are hogs and the prophecies they espouse are ipso facto hogwash. The whole sordid notion of Zion is rather solipsistic. Unless it was made for all beings, and not even just humans. Paradise already is, but it is dying, not being nurtured, not being created. This world was all there was, in spite of all the stories to the contrary. There is simply no truth to the contrary.
But on the other hand. Jesus, being scapegoated, in his time, was the symbol of the Devil. Devil = scapegoat. So Jesus is The Devil.
meh; i still see christianity as being its own "anti-christ". the guy himself was just some guy they use as an excuse for it, though presumably he was also a channeler of the god they claim to worship, who baha'is believe is the same god of all dominant organized beliefs who worship one. i understand about the claim of identity, but there ARE a number of logical explanations for it. this whole bussiness of nontangable beings in conflict with each other is rather outside of my actual experience of anything truely spiritual. =^^= .../\...

hmmm interesting theory. It fits well with the truth that everything is two sided. Winter and summer, day and night, sun and moon, life and death. These halves are all part of a whole, so if Jesus was the Christ, isn't he also the Anti-Christ? Look at who Jesus was and what he has come to represent. Aren't they opposites? The modern stereotype of the Church is an evil organization affiliated with pedofile, greed, and corruption, the exact opposite of what Jesus stood for.
That is the most stupitest thing I ever heard 1st things first the antichrist will turn people against jesus and God so therefore the antichrist isnt Jesus secondly the antichrist will be the devils son and Jesus is God's son. It also says in the Bible that the antichrist will make you wear the number 666 and if you dont you cant get anything and you will die. Jesus is not the devil the devil turned againsed him so he sent him and all the other bad angels as we know as demons straight to hell. I agree. However, their is a removed part of the bible, that says that the anti-christ would be 'the brother' of Christ. In my Roman-Catholic view, the term brother is symbolic. If Hitler was form of the anti-christ, you can say that in their speaking Christ and Anti-Christ aretwo brothers. The one has chosen for the good, the other for the bad...
