I got a present in this container for xmas. It is perfect for shrooms! I'm spawning these John Allen popcorn jars to poo in it. I'll post another pic when I'm finished tonight.

Hmm, to be honest i don't like your sterile technics,
Oh sorry I see the jars are fully colonized so they are at low risk from contamination
I thought that they had been inoculated there
    :D
With the box you are useing, Yes seems good
Stronge, small to keep as much heat in . .Etc Etc
    Tell us how it goes
    Good Luck :D

Looking good. IMO, it's time for 12-18 hours a day of light. And they need to be watered (lite fine mist), which will knock a little of that white down.

Lookin good man. Do you usually fruit without a casing layer?

Some people seem to have very good results not using a casing, and some swear by it. I guess it's also pretty dependent on what type of setup you are using. ie: if you can provide a moist climate at all times that will reproduce that of a casing's microclimate, then there's little need for a casing.

I look forward to the results!

Awhile back I bought a bag of poo at Wal-mart. Well it sucked and was like potting soil so I threw some in with my whole brown rice cakes. That is what the black spots are.

What's up with the redness? Some kind of casing mix I haven't heard of? It looked like the standard 50/50 + at first.

No casing, just popcorn spawned to cow poo. It gets that red color when the Mycellium colonizes poo. I think I should have cased it now. I was hoping for more pins.

Is that an oily substance on the surface?

    What is that?

    Ah, the first pin heads.
Hmm, no casing layer. Personaly, I perfer using a casing layer. I find that it increases my flush by alot.

Here's the first flush and harvest minus about 10 caps I'm printing. It turned out better than expected. I cased the tray and now waiting for another flush.
