Damn anyone can get lucky in RT these days. Its hot in here in the winter

But I do want to hear the heavyweight weigh in on these levees

 

I can't say either way, and it's likely we will never know exactly what happened. There were people interviewed by the media who were in the vicinity of the levee when it broke, who reported to hear loud explosions (clip 1 - 2). Their belief is that the levee was blown with explosives. This is still a popular belief among many of the residents of New Orleans and the black community in general. Of course the media simply tries to pass these people off as bitter, angry black people who don't know any better. But I don't think what they saw and heard should be discounted. As far as what I think, I cannot say because I wasn't there. However, knowing what the government has done in the past, I certainly would not put it past them to do something like that.

Ooooh, you're getting mixed up with what I was saying about the Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown, which sits on the Susquehanna River. That's more in the south-eastern part of the state. The only river near me is the mighty Genesee River.

Yeah, it's not too far from where I am. Maybe about 30-40 miles east of here.

 

you know why i have very little faith in conspiracy theories, especially the big ones? it's because i have very little faith in the intelligence, cooperative skills and teamwork of mankind. i think a buncha jumped up monkeys like us would fuck up entirely too much and kill our teammates for one reason or another.

yeah, everyone always talks about rat the conspiracy theorist, but other than this thread i've only seen him mention conspiracies a couple times. i'm not sure i even caught the steak discussion. pretty much all i've witnessed is beer talk. and in those threads it's rat trying to prove everyone else wrong; i haven't noticed these mysterious few who are out to get him.

lol. the only people rat has faith in are the brewers. personally i think he's right. i like a man who won't let people change his mind on ANYTHING. it makes life more interesting, and i envy certain people their staunch adherence to their beliefs. i'm a flake.
