    Lemme tell you young 'uns, the 70s was THE SHIT, alright! :)

    Imagine these circumstances....

    Free flowing drugs - everyone was doing something, mostly pot, coke, speed, angel dust.

    Free Sex - everyone was having sex with everyone else. Never heard of AIDS, HIV. Far fewer ppl getting married cause that would cut down on your sexual freedoms...

    Disco Fever - The hottest place to be was a disco where you could find both of the above (sex & drugs). Dance the night away with white powder and then have an orgy... ;)

    Peace - After the Vietnam war died down in the early seventies, the US stayed out of major conflicts for the rest of the decade. So there was little to worry about, and the protests of the sixties were forgotten.

    Music - The music went downhill in the 70s because the psychedelic and politically motivated music gave way to Disco, which many believed killed rock 'n' roll. But now if you listen to GOOD disco music, R&B, soul from the period, you can't help but get up and dance! Those were the good times, when you could dance without cares!!!

    this reminds me of my dad's late 70's pictures.. kinda brown and with that shape.. my dad totally was a stoner in the French navy.. traveling to the Indian Ocean..

    The 70's were great but I loved the 80's better.

    LOL those pics of your Mom reminds me of my High School days. Lots of great memories from the 70's for me.

    I totally wish I wasn't born in the freaking 80s. I loved the 70s, and the 60s. Actually I know FAR TOO MUCH about both decades, and am a total 60s/70s music expert too. I think maybe I was reincarnated or something.

    Anyway yea I'm going to post some more of her pics when shes' not home again cause I don't think she'd want me to put them up here. Plus the albums are so old that I have to almost tear the pics to rip them out of the albums. :)

    My dad has a lot of old pictures of him and his friends smoking. My dad was friends with my mom's sisters before they were married and there are pictures of them next to HUGE plants.
