Would like to shroom for an upcoming show. But I'm driving.

So next week my favorite band is coming to town. Donna the Buffalo! Well actually it's not in my town it's about an hours drive. Well I have some miraculously potent mushies I wanna take a little over a 16th of for the show. Perhaps like an hour before the show for maybe a 4 hour show. But I'm not sure. Either way the question is should I be safe to drive home after the show.

I know there are quite a few people who drive even on acid. I really wouldn't want to try this. But someday will. I regularly drive stoned. Obviously not a big deal. But is driving on shrooms something that is easily done?

no way dude. with shrooms you never know. it'd be pretty easy to panic in a situation like that. i'd say no on driving with anything in your liver or head, really.

 

hahaha, you dont even have to tell him. Once hes tripping, hell KNOW that its not an idea that can even be considered.

What's this I hear about people driving on acid? Especially Neal Cassady who drove Furthur on acid. Do people actually pull this off?

And I was just thinking about taking the shrooms early enough so by the end of the show I'd be fine.

 

Yes, it is very possible, it's just that phycadelics effect everyone differently. My friend's dad told us about the time he drove on magic mushrooms. He said nothing happened about 30 minutes after ingesting them, so he started driving home and saying it was a little spooky just staring at the tail lights in front of you, lol!

 

i'd say it would be a bad idea think about whats more important taking some mushrooms for a night of fun, or your own welling being not to mention that of the other people on the road so i think the fact about it being easily done or not is besides the point. Also just because you hear stories of other people taking acid or shrooms while driving doesn't mean its a good idea, lots of people do lots of stupid things! I find it scary enough going down the freeway at 100K scary enough when im a passenger in a car while tripping. Stay safe and try to remember your actions behind the wheel could impact more than just your own life

You should be still sleeping at that point, not driving. So the answer is no.

 

If your not carrying any drugs in your possession and you know you can drive either sober or on marijuana you can drive on acid. Of course, its not the smartest thing to do but its not like your smoking salvia and driving (don't even think about it!!!). I've driven on occassion on mushrooms as well as LSD but not on a highway or anything. Just around the neighborhood, (I live in denver so... )

Just one thing you got to look out for is, don't get distracted. Its easy to get distracted when your sober but when you got everything around you moving and breathing it can be a little dangerous but come on, its just driving. DOn't speed and don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine. Enjoy your show!

 

yeah and if you get pulled over and your pupils are the size of dimes...

not worth it, IMO.

 

Hm...I really don't think it's smart idea. Probably should stick to weed that night.
