Can shrooms really eat holes in your brain?

The guy who sells me mine says they can. Idk if its true or not.

I'm confused. Why would some idiot tell someone that something they're selling for consumption would put holes in your brain? BLASPHEMY!

 

It's just one of those rumours that go around with magic mushrooms. I've heard them all: brain bleeding, holes in brain, draining spinal fluid, cracking of spine, making you trip balls... Hold that thought, the last one was the only thing that wasn't a lie there

 

Interestingly, alcohol abuse is more likely linked to the formation of plaques (amyloid deposits) or holes in the brain, similar to the ones seen in Alzheimer's disease.

The operative word here though is abuse.
The social drinker and the occasional imbiber is not considered abuse.

 

Mushrooms are perfectly safe for the brain. The liver is a different story though.

lol i remember hearing a rumor along the lines of this where somebody tried to convince me that your body cant break down mushrooms properly and this matter that was unable to be broken down was sent to your brain where it turns to mould lol

 

My friend heard about how lsd is stored in your spine and releases sporadically to create flashbacks

About a week ago after doing acid a month ago, he said he cracked his back and got an acid flashback

I got what I thought to be an acid flashback; On weed while staring at peoples faces, for a second or two they get all gray and contort to create that evil dead looking demon face I saw in peoples faces on acid

 

Just one thing,

Mushrooms have been around for a very long time. So if they would do all these bad things, we would know.
