well, i dont want to go to work. ihave way too much shcoolwork to catch up on (yeah i know im on here but this is destressing before more studying). its -30C, -44C with the windchill and i have to bus up to work (generally speaking, the busses run late in colder weather like this) also ive been having those pesky panic attacks... havent had one in a week and a bit now but still, i have a weird feeling i might get one today if i dont get a shitload of schoolwork done buuuut none of these are actual excuses i can give to my boss for calling in sick, yknow? generally work wants a doctors note as well, and all the doctors offices are closed save for the minor emergency clinics, the nearest of which involves a bus ride and walking about 3 blocks in this shitty shitty weather grr help?
lol. i start that on wed and its never bad enough to miss work i guess i could pretend it is, but, i dunno... chick problems seems liek sucha lame thing to fall back on
Why not go to work and show everyone you have what it takes to prioritize and organize your life in a way you can handle both work and school. Show everyone you’re tough and ambitious and nothing (including a little cold weather) is going to stop you from arriving to work on time with a positive attitude Unless of course you want to be viewed as soft and apathetic in which case there are plenty of homes still available on Wisteria Lane hotwater
bite me not what i asked for, not helpful in any way, and side-insults and insinuations simply make me guilt myself more, which makes me have more anxiety, which results in a higher chance of have a panic/anxiety attack
Just say your sick. It dosnt matter what the exact condition is, as long as you make it clear that you would be unable to work to the potential they ask for. Dont say anything that will warrant a doctors note tho.
phone your boss and say ' dude, i'm like... y'know... not coming to work, dude. yeah, fuck this man. i'm going to bed.' and hang up. Hopefully he'll be too confused to notice that you haven't come to work. yeah, i know, it's a shit idea. sorry.
saske-fuck, but only p/t so i dont get sick days or anything i did go to work obviously, and i have to work wed and thurs and then im getting widsom teeth out on friday so im taking just over a week off for that (had 2 out last year and im useless as fuck for a week or so)
Man, I had all my wisdom teeth out at the same time. Hurt like hell, but between the Jack Daniels, Columbian Gold, and those nice little pain pills the doc gave me, I was out and about in two days, LOL...
It's not too bad - get 'em all done at once, then you only have to deal with the pain once. Unless, that is, you like Jack Daniels, weed, and pills, LOL...
i was out of commission for about 5 days last time (ok, healing slowly due to added stress from having foudn out i had a peeping tom same time taht i got my teeth pulled), and it was probably al week and a half before if felt comfortable eating truly solid food again (i mean, i ate crackers and such, but let em get all soggy in my mouth before fussing with em... god that sounds gross, anywho) im nearly phobic with dentists to soooo theres extra stress. yippee!
