Movies you hated but the rest of the world apparently loved

I guess there's nothing funny about Thailand, therefore no sense of humour is allowed to flourish. C'mon dude, do you realize what a sad blanket statement that is about yourself? There's stupid comedy, and then there's intelligent comedy. There's a big difference between Woody Allen & Adam Sandler.

 

The second matrix movie, it made me not even bother with the third one. Apparently, I "have to watch it" so that I can finally "get it."

Bad boys 2, rush hour, 2nd and 3rd Pirates movies.

 

Just because I don't like movies that are supposed to make me laugh doesn't mean I'm sad. It just means that I'm hard to please.

For every 'funny' comedy you can name I can name at least 20 shit ones.

Woody Allen is funny, sometimes, but i find him hit and miss.

I will watch a comedy that has been given to me, but I will not go to the theatre's to watch one. There hasn't been a really hilarious movie for years, to my limited knowledge.

 

oh granmas boy is fucking hilarious man.. i duno if ya smoke weed but if ya do,,smoke up before ya watch it and if ya dont laugh through most of it theres something wrong with you...

 

i hate woody allen. every woody allen movie. hate them all. i' makes me pray that womeon will bomb him and every friend he has. maybe that's what al qaeda was really trying to do: get rid of woody allen. if so, i think we should understand their pain.

I think Adam Sandler is hilarious

as for a movie that people love that I hate..

Napoleon Dynamite...

everyones like.. ohhhhh it soo funnyyy...

and i watched it...

and fell asleep halfway through it.. god, that movie sucked. lol.

 

Napoleon Dynamite sucked HARD.

But Mean Girls is fantastic, redyelruc. I cringed, too, when I was told to watch it, but the guy who told me to watch it was my ex-boyfriend, the "future movie producer." He does know good movies, so I gave it a shot and it was great.

I'm not sure I exactly hate any other movies that were popular. I hate Playing By Heart, but I don't think that movie ever was held in high regards.

 

Top Gun with Tom Cruise. God, I hate that movie!

I think everyone hates that movie.

 

According to the 'experts', Being John Malkovich and Lost in Translation were cinematic masterpieces. I thought them B-movies and consider both excellent fodder for these guys:

 

no doubt. where are they when we really need them?

 

I wish that were true, but actually it won Oscars, Golden Globes and tons of other awards. Box office grossed $344,800,000 worldwide.

 

Now that is just wrong.
But whatever...

 

God. A ton of them. But off the top of my head, I HATED The Bourne Identity.

 

Oh yeah, me too. It was awful.

 

A friend of mine didnt like Forrest Gump.
I mean, how can you not like Forrest Gump ? Its like not liking Bambi....

 

The Bourne trilogy is really good! how can you not like em? they have a really european, dark feel.. and they're prtty intense at times.

Prtty much any American humour films besides 'Team America' are really bad.
