to talk or to shut up

I'm fascinated by the salvia experience, but one thing I'm dissappointed in is how elusive it is to memory. I mean, I can remember that most of my experiences were extremely intense, but I can never remember what I experienced that was so intense... until I smoke up again... and then all the memories come flooding back in. It's like all my memories are left there in salvia-space, and I can reclaim them by going back in.

One thing I found is that I can bring memories back by talking them out. Like vocally reporting to myself what I'm experiencing (or just talking to the "spirits" I encountered while in that space... although it turns out more to be like an argument), but I find this works against the go-with-the-flow approach that seems to make trips of all kinds go by most smoothly.

So my question is this: do you find it is better to just let the experience flow through you, not worrying about if you remember or have any control, or is it better to be able to remember your experiences, and therefore do what you can to bring those memories back?

I would always choose to remember, because I like to try and think of why my mind was there. Not so easy though. Takes some time to gather bits and pieces. I do get that "salvia space" exclusive memory of something or other. Obviously can't currently recall it due to said issues with remembering it all.
