In both cases I would assume the signs had been put up by some ignorant racist thugs, and I would condemn equally those individuals who put up threatening/racist signs like that be they white, pink, brown or green. But in both cases it would be a mistake to assume that such a sign represents the opinion of every person in the area or of every person who shares a skin tone with those who wrote it... If there were a "no blacks" sign in a white area would you assume all white people were basically members of the kkk? Or start refering to whites with one big "they"? This is incredibly simplistic essentialism.
I wouldnt be surprised if it was a racist group stirring it all up.... You cant say that about all the muslims in this country. lol pakistanis and indians are from different countries. Ive heard racist comments against indians and Pakistanis. TONNES about jews. Obv. none about white people seeing as they are the majority,

so far as i can tell, there isn't anywhere in teh world 100 percent safe for 100 percent of the people. if wealthy indians can feel unsafe in a load of places, so can just about anyone else.

Saying "no paki bashing goes on in britian" is completely wrong. Either you live under a rock, are ignorant, or you've seen abit too much and want to forget, but paki bashing is everywhere. Especially in the cities. The majority of England isnt racist [but IS NOT happy with muslims/other cultures/reglions taking over our own] although, the racist minority is catching up and will soon be majority. When a white man is the odd one out in London, there's problems. Muslims have tried to set off bombs how many times? And succeeded more than once... Are we just going to let them kill us? Why should we. This is OUR country, our culture, and they dont belong here. They've even got training camps in the UK. We're breeding our own terrorists. The only way to deal with the problem is kick it out, or execute it.
speaking of...have you guys seen "The Kingdom?" it's worth a sitting through. if you get past preconceived ideas of what it's morality is. i've talked to a few people who've watched it and didn't get to the end, which you really have to do.

not that i know of. there's four fbi agents investigating a bombing, trying to get to some particular bomber guy. and while i really enjoy the gore, i really needed it, i thought the treatment of the topic at the end was appropriate.
