I just stumbled across this site and it was a blessing to find it, i have been reading through some of the comments by women, about how ashamed they are, about how some are driven to suicide because they are not happy with the size or shape of their breasts, i mean WTF??!! suicide??? whats this world coming to??? it gets me really angry the way society pushes images of the 'perfect' DD round pert breast with small nipples and small areolas into the faces of women and says 'this is how you should be' its bullshit, women look at this site and love your body ffs!!!! http://www.007b.com/breast_gallery.php
I prefer small boobs. Although, I did not find many of those posted on that site attractive. But then again, I have rediculisy high standards. As Oscar Wilde said: "I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best."
yeahhh i think i like my extremely small breast compared to 98% of the breast on that site. People come in all different shapes and sizes though, and all is beautiful
I agree. Some blame has to go to the girls themselves for being so fucking gullible though. It's amazing how many people there are out there that don't understand that not everyone likes what 'everyone' likes. In a lot of cases, the majority doesn't like what "everyone" likes.
There is actually a significant difference between male and female tastes in women...just look at Cosmopolitan vs. Playboy or rather Hustler. Women do all this shit to their appearance that men absolutely do not require and then point back to "society."
^ Definitely agreed. Although, I don't know how much Playboy will vary from Cosmopolitan, I agree with your main point 100%. I've actually made the same point in other discussions that talked about the issue. You hear so much complaining from women about how men and society want them to look like Barbies, but if you are listening right, you hear so much complaining from men about how all women want to be Barbies (listen to any comedian talking about his wife).
I was making the point that the VAST majority of men in the U.S. prefer fleshier women than heroin chic anorexics. Of course I don't mean fat, just pleasantly plump I would guess is the mean taste for males. Women seem to be unable to get that. I hear men say OVER and OVER again that models generally look disgusting. So I won't accept responsibility for what women feel is societal pressure. Also all the freaking make up and the weird cosmetics. My way none of that shit would even have been thought of. But I think we're basically in agreement.
madcap-that is a great site, thanks for sharing. I see some responses that say basically that women do more for their appearance than men really care about, but then you have joo kyle putting down less than perfect, real women. So, men (some of them) are to blame, too. BTW joo kyle- your "rediculisy" high standards don't seem to extend to spelling.
^ No offense to the lad, but it's something he'll probably grow out of. I myself had much 'higher' (unrealistic) standards when I was younger; then as I matured, I realized that my tastes in porn aren't the same as my tastes in real women.
LOL at what treehuggert said, that amused me. i get that a lot of guys dont set high standards but a lot do, and i suppose with the media aswell that just confuses girls even more and they forget some people will like them if they look nothing like that, if im making sense
I think both men and women contribute to this, on both sides. I think a lot of it is just exposure. Thanks for the site madcap, very cool. The more you see bodies and get used to the fact that usually even the models themselves don't look like the models you see in magazines, airbrushing altering etc, people will get more comfortable with the way they are. I've been with enough women to know that a whole lot of people are very uncomfortable with their body. Some more than others definitely but very few of the women I've been with have even been comfortable walking around naked just by themselves. It's really sad actually. It's just a body man. And it's the only one you've got right now. You might as well enjoy it. And I guarantee there's a whole lot of other people out there who want to enjoy it with you regardless of what you look like. The sexiest thing about anybody isn't what they look like it's how they feel about themselves. So rock what you got!
I don't really know how to say this without sounding like a bitch, but here it goes. I've seen that site before and I understand its message, but I still find some of the breasts on that site quite unattractive. If I was with a woman who didn't have "perfect" breasts, I'd never make her feel about herself. It's not criteria for beauty. But nice, round perky breasts (not necessarily big) are a plus.
My GF has asymmetrical breasts. Ones a small C and the others a large C(I've learned to stay home on bra shopping trips). I find them very attractive. I do believe that media/society presents a largely unattainable gold standard as far as breast and all body parts go. However, i don't think that its fair to say that men are part of the "problem." Really, men,as well as women, have just as hard of a time meeting the "ideal" for their gender. I'll never have abs like brad pitt or arms like the Rock or a car as nice as Pdiddy. Really, when it comes down to it, I don't think that men are expecting perfection or comparing the real women in their life to those on TV. However, i think, no matter what, some people will be viewed as more/less attractive than the next, which will lead to a feelings of insecurity. I know women with hollywood type boobs who are very insecure because of the attention that they bring. So, IMHO, insecurity and dissatisfaction with ones body are inevitable and just part of the human condition.
When I was in second grade my teacher wrote a note home to my mom on my report card that said(she only showed me this a few months ago) "Kyle is a horrible speller and he will never get better" I also think it's extremly superficial for a person to blame something like the media on why a person is or isn't attracted to someone. First off, you're completley diminishing the individual as a free thinker. Second, I don't think a person in anyway chooses what turns them on or what they're attracted to. That's just natural. It's not my fault I find super model skinny girls more attractive then a full figured girl. But for me the most important part of physical attraction is the face.
I generally try to base my feelings on facial features, eyes, lips, smile, things of that bature, befure noticing the body itself. I have dated smaler girls, and larger, and i don't think I would discriminate either way. Personally, I like a girl to have some curves, ie., not skinny as hell, and I can't stand the superstick models out there these days, but I like all kinds of girls, so it isn't that much of an issue for me, I usually decide wether I like the GIRL, first, not the body.
I submitted a picture of my glorious pectorals, cleanly shaven and rubbed with oil. Let us come together and bring this super-judgemental media down sisters.
