Hey guys, So its like 2am and in a few hours I plan on heading round the corner to the pharmacy to get some DXM for my first DXM trip ever. -Can anyone tell me what brands/products/other ingredients i should look for? -How much DXM do i need for a (hopefully hallucinegenic) trip? -Will they ask for ID? (Im 17) -Where in the store should I look? (i dont like taking every box of pills off the counter to read the labels while the cashier stares at me) -What should i be carefull of after consuming the product? - Robitussin Long Lasting has ONLY DXM, Robitussin cough gels as well. Try like 300mg's for your first trip. I used to know exactly how much DXM was in certain cough medicines, but I don't remeber now. It's pretty easy to figure out. - DXM can get extremely dissociative and crazy. 600mg's seems to get most people there. I've had trips with over a gram of it and it does get quite crazy, especially in the dark. - Depends on the state, and the store. Chain stores will if the state requires it. Smaller non-chain pharmacy's probably won't. Again, highly dependent on the state. - Stay hydrated but it isn't necessary like it is on powerful stimulants. Nothing to really look out for. Depends on dose. Some small percentage of the Caucasian population has an enzyme deficiency that allows DXM to stick around a lot longer, so small doses are more like huge ones. Had a friend who we were unaware she had the deficiency. She took like 300mg's as the rest of us did and tripped the fuck out of her MIND. She was freaking out and shit and we were in the woods, deep in the woods. Me and the BF had to get back to my car in the dark by moonlight in woods I had never previously been in. Needless to say we got lost. There were 4 us (including the girl). Me and him had to follow the voice of the guy that was looking after her and we had toi start over. I was so afraid we'd get lost and never get out. Haha Sorry for the rant. Also, I advise again't DXM these days. Doses in excess of 700mg have been shown to cause brain damage. I feel less mentally capable sometimes and I think it's because of all my DXM use. It's fun, but there are other drugs that are more fun and much safer (Shrooms, acid, MG seeds)
What he said... Also, just go to the cold medication isle, and pick up Robbutussin cough gels, they have just DXM and are hella easier to take than the syrup. less nausia and such.as for doseing, do what genity said
Also, there are like CVS and Walgreens brands and stuff (store brands), usually a decent amount cheaper. They say right on them what they were modeled after (i.e. check the active ingredient in Robitussin Cough Gels) or something to that extent.
I took my first DXM trip on monday. I took Robitussin cough gels (300mg). It kinda felt like I was drunk, but when I sat down I felt like my body was turned upside down and I was hanging from my couch.
