Dutch weed, length of high... and prostitutes

Just got back from a 2 night stay in amsterdam yesterday. I went with 2 friends, and I was the only real stoner in the group pretty much, I'm not gonna smoke again, cause I smoked myself sick of weed over the weekend, but my friends got seriously screwed over just 1 or 2 tokes a time that stuff was so strong.

So we got northern lights, that gave my friends a really horrible high and like took the first day from their memories. We did enjoy it sorta. I did some mushrooms and stuff that night too.

However we got some NYCD (we all liked that loads) Jamaican (rolled a real nice cheap blunt and my friends loved it) we got some jack herrer (twas ok) and we got some white widow (this was a bit more like the northern lights)

Also my friend did a wake and bake high yesterday morning with me, just a puff or two of jack herrer, boy did he feel it for the rest of the day and didn't stop complaining that it wouldn't go away. Now today he tells me he still feels it... about 30 hours later? Is it just in his head, or is there any sound advice to give him?

Also what's a good way to get rid of prostitute smell? Words do not describe how dirty I feel.

p.s: Amsterdam is almost too easy. It sounds great, the whole, oh yeah you want weed just buy it, porno? there's about a million sex shops. Every little shop effectively doubles up as a head shop selling pipes, papers, and bare ashtrays. Mushrooms are on almost every street corner and hookers are cheap cheerful and easy. Yet even though it sounds fun, and in a lot of ways it is, the way that its such a male city, almost centered around the penis... is enough to turn me onto feminism.

p.p.s: does anyone know a little american fella who runs around amsterdam and is like really short and fucking annoying and led us out to some random corner of the city and expected money. I really wanna advise anyone who sees him to batter him. My stupid mate gave him 5 euros. GAH! IDIOT!

I walked by that place every day I was there. Or is it some kind of chain?

I was only 15 when I went there with my family and I didn't smoke yet, so it was kind of a wasted trip as far as the usual activities there go. I need to go back.

 

Grey Area is a tiny little coffeeshop owned by americans with not the biggest selection of smokables but all very high quality gear..

To the OP: I personally wouldn't say it's a male city... What makes you say that about it?

If you go to the Red Light District you might get that vibe but there's a lot more to Amsterdam than hookers and dope (and the RLD is the shittest place in the city, worth walking through once for the experience but crap coffeeshops, street corner dealers out to mug you and cheap sleazy brothels and peep shows- no thanks).

There's 1000s of posts on Amsterdam on hipforums- thousands of nice places to go and things to see -not just tourist trap coffeshops with shit dope and seedy tourist trap brothels.

Don't talk to people hanging around on corners as they only prey on stoned vulnerable tourists...

 

Amsterdam is my fav place in the world and i can't wait to go back there, maybe move there. I mite settle in Harmlem though as i believe it would be cheaper. I miss everything about that wonderful place. Though i think it's nice to be a man in Amsterdam i don't feel that the city is necessarily made for males.

 

Women in Amsterdam prolly aren't as prude as american chicks so they are also prolly into the sex shops and shit!
