so, i've never liked fish, and last night I actually succeeded in cooking fish, eating fish and not loathing it! I just wanted to share. what foods have you tried lately?
Fish really isn't my favorite thing to eat either. I'm good with halibut or some fresh salmon, but I still hate the fishey smell in the house when cooking it. I had some caribou meat the other day and it was pretty good.
my aunt made me this like caramel waffle cone type thin filled with creme- kinda like a canoli(sp?) but a little sweeter
i love fresh fish like bluegill, perch, and walleye all deep fryed with some good batter like drakes. also panfrying walleye is pretty awesome to with some bread crumbs. fish is the best when cooked from fresh fish fillets and never from frozen. i cant stand frozen processed fish sticks they are so nasty. also frozen fish that they serve at most resturants for all you can eat is usually GFS is also crappy. if people just knew how to cook fresh fish the way that i cook it they would love it. ive never had a fishy taste or smell from when i cook it. ive grown up ice fishing and boat fishing on a bunch of lakes catching bluegills and perch mostly. i love perch i think they are about the best fish so fun to catch them and so good to eat. the only bad thing is filleting them but once you get it down and as long as you have a sharp knife its easy to get all the meat off quick.
My boyfriend makes the yummiest curry rice, we used to be on a pizza diet, but now we are on the curry rice one, it has been a great improvement
