i'm becoming a really good cook

my eternal beloved squeeze is away in california for the month and i've taken this time to develop my cooking skills

2 nights ago i started with a tomato sauce base, added lots of freshly pressed garlic, and basil and other seasonings and sea salt, and a sauteed' in olive oil buffalo burger that i cut into small pieces

my intent was to make a spaghetti and meatballs dish but when i went to the cupboard, there was no spaghetti but i found some oizzo and used that instead. after the oizzo was cooked, i poured the meat sauce over it and stirred.

it was really really good


tonight i cooked up some pinto beans that i had been soaking for the past 24 hours. added lots of fresh pressed garlic, curry, hot peppers, italian seasonings and salt. then i fried in olive oil some white corn tortillas to serve with.

I keep wanting to experiment with cooking, but I always have an excuse like we need to move to a place with a better kitchen

I love guys who can cook.. or who cook, even if it's not that great.. it's so fucking cute.. I don't know why.

 

When i have good spices and vegetables i can cook pretty good, but i usually get the easy to make stuff. I can work magic with the frying pan.

 

Im awful. Im just uncreative. Nix that, I lazy. But I bake VERY well. I like baking so much. I want to make pies all day.
