Wow. Tonight has been very interesting. Winds of up to 65mph blowing here in Vegas. I looked out my window and thought I saw lightning, so I went outside to check it out. No lightning. What I had saw was a powerline across the street from us arcing with every gust. Sparks were flying down the street and cars were trying to dodge the sparks. Wind kept getting stronger and palm tree branches were flying all over the place. Numerous power outages in the area, but I was lucky to be able to keep our power, especially since across the street in one direction, and down the street in another direction, power is out. Otherwise, this is definitely a night to stay in. Very dangerous out there right now. Stay safe everyone.
Same predicted for Thursday. On the bright side, the wind is clearing some of the pollution out of the valley.
