I suffer from a sort of snow blindness, it happened 3 times so far, it started one day when the sun was really bright and there was snow on the ground, I guess I got to much sun and began seeing a lot of reds and blues in both eyes as if I looked into the sun, but I didn't. This effect lasted about 15 to 20 minutes and then went away. I had to get out of the sun and go into a dark part of the house. This effect, to me seems to last longer than normal and it leaves me disoriented as I try to focus my eyes but can't. This effect can be triggered by simple fluorescent lights. Lasting about 15 to 20 minutes till it fades away. Sometimes I go out at night and sit in the darkness and wait for it to fade. So, anybody have any ideas out there as to what this is? Am I going blind slowly? Is it an LSD flash back?? Is there something wrong with my eyes? I'm going to the ophthalmologist in 2 weeks to get a thorough examination. Bustramp
