How'd you find your dealer?

I moved to a new town where I don't know a soul. I always bought from friends back home, but that's no longer possible.

I'm not dumb enough to do the street corner thing. My record is spotless and I'd like to keep it that way.

I guess I was hoping for an American Beauty moment at some of the places I hang out at, but I doubt that's ever gonna happen. I've scored a couple times, but nothing regular or dependable. So, I'm wondering, how'd you find the kind of hookup that you can count on? You know, the kind where you have their number and can call when you like.

I've never really had a dealer. I would just get my friend's or my brother to get me stuff from theirs.
I actually always hated dealing with dealers and I always hated when my friends would take me to pick up stuff with them, it always made me so uncomfortable.
That's probably because they always had a bad attitude and were so annoying, acting all "cool" and then hitting on me.. ugh, I hated it.

My dealer is also a friend and he lived in the apartment downstairs from the place that I just left. He's awesome, but he kind of stopped dealing so he just buys it from his dealer and sells some to me.

 

My dealers just a kid I went to high school with, and he's been dealing since then so its been really convenient. I would suggest to you is to go to a local pipe shop and just ask around there. You are bound to find somebody. I'd recommend asking someone who just bought something though, then you know they aren't a cop or some shit.

One time I just bought a pipe and some dude walked right up to me after I walked out and gave me his number for weed. I never called him because he was sort of ghetto and I didn't need a new dealer. But maybe it will work for you. Just be careful.

I've been to head shops where saying "bong" is like saying "bomb" on an airplane. the staff at these establishments can be uptight and rightfully paranoid and you're likely to get banned asking for a hookup inside, or standing outside their store obviously trying to arrange an illegal transaction with their customers.

 

I found my dealer whilst browsing bathroom stalls at the Philadelphia Market East terminal for gay sex.

 

Some places are more relaxed then others I guess. A friend of mine who moved here from CA (before I knew him) said after his 2nd week here he was desperate so he went to a head shop and asked the guys working there. They straight up gave him their dealers number. It may not sound smart but it happened. And who really cares if you get banned? If you get a hookup out of it it would totally be worth it. Once again just be careful.

Also I don't mean stand outside and act shady waiting for someone to buy something. But stand around inside and just act like you are looking to buy a pipe/bong/etc until someone buys something. Then follow them out and just ask them. BTW, I'm so glad I've never had to do something like this haha.

 

I once was desperate for a hookup but it couldn't be found anywhere. so I went to a Marijuana Anonymous meeting, met the most weak-minded pushover I could find (that's saying a lot, considering the Marijuana Anonymous folk) and convinced him to hook me up by telling him people in 12 step programs were pathetic and that he was probably a virgin and he'd be cool if he started smoking weed again. this kids name was Irwin.

then we went to Irwin's place, I slipped some G in his pepsi, and while he was passed out I took all the weed, $4.76 mostly in change, one of his t-shirts that I liked and his mom's bottle of percocets. then I made some long distance calls on his phone, and I was gone.

in reply to the op ive never really hada very reliable source but ive bought off alot of dif people but all of them ive met threw a friend cept for one i knew growing up and i saw him one day standing outside and we started talking and he showd me his new bong and i had some weed and was like wanna toke and after that i bought from his ppl for along time, then he started dealing,but i havent bought from him ina wile and will never again bcuz he ripped me off Then lied bout it when i called him on it.
Just make friends who smoke.

I met mine through some international drug carriers. First guy used to ship in key's of ketamine from asia and get buds from al-qaeda and heroin from the tailiban. Havent talked to him in about a year though cuz last time I heard he murdered a guy who killed his cousin

 

I've met most my dealers and hookups through work or people I've worked with. just make friends with someone you think might smoke, and you'll have your hookup.
