SWEEEEETI'm going to be grabbing up some acetic anhydride because we're making aspirin in chem class next week! Anyone with experiance converting morphine to diacetylmorphine? I have read up on it and understand the principles but practically speaking what kind of efficiency will i be looking at (morphine from MSContin)
I think you need a big ass set up man to make Morphine sulphate into Herion like say a a few aces set aside in the columbian jungle or a little vacation spot in the Afghan mountains right next to your new neighbor Bin Laden.-LOL-For real its a very hard process and I don't think it can be done with just alittle but of morphine I think you need alot of it to begin the process ??? I think There are alot more steps from making morphine into Herion you really have to have a big set up and know what you are doing. Hey if you ever decide to try it its easier to make black Tar Herion then it is powder Herion though.there are alot of recipes on the net on how to do it. I am buy no means a chemist and no nothing about cooking up Herion though. But Good luck man if you try.
^update... yes there's lots of good info online on how to do it, the yield is a bit better than 60%, closer to 80%, and no you don't need a few acres in south america, it seems to work fine using a erlinmeyer flask. Also, turning tar into powder is not hard. 10ml of AA is enough to convert over 5 g of morphine do diacetyl... monitor PH and temp closely so your effiiciency does not go to shit.
even if you screw up and dont measure or drop the ball in some other way, youll still have monoacetylmorphine, morphine, and diacetylmorphine that perhaps stinks of vinegar and is slightly acidic. Try NOT to. With high quality starting materials there's no excuse though. I imagine it's pretty time consuming to go from poppy field to fine china.
You dont need a big ass lab or set you just need a couple stuff you a waste maybe 100 200$ tops i know i did lol pretty simple method to convert MS contin to heroin good shit to pure
