yes, because even our founding fathers knew that a multiple party system would only stand to divide us.
All I gotta say for whoever thinks voting for McCain will solve america's problems... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gwqEneBKUs Enjoy Bush 2.0
I am with you here. If someone has ever called themselves a Ron Paul Supporter, I simply can not see how it is possible to vote for any other candidate while he is still in the race. A vote cast is not wasted. Those votes speak for you and are signaling a change in the thinking of America. It is sad more haven't come around yet, but they will AS LONG AS PEOPLE KEEP IT ALIVE! Not only should we be voting for Ron, we should be out there doing our damnedest to convince other people to vote for him. Not with signs and yelling, but with conversation and debate on the points. Too few people actually understand the monetary and economic system of the US/world. That is a good place to start, as is just about any of the things Ron stands for. Just my 2 worthless fiat dollars for you.
The campaign is finished. He pretty much said it in his video that was sent to the supporters. But he is saying that it is the beginning of a new political movement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryMliyeIDp4 There's already a site set up to plan the march. I really don't know what to think, but I'll be headed to the march no matter what. If nothing else, I'll at least voice my discontent.
I voted Ron Paul because I want to negate abortion, because I believe MLK was a pedophile, because I believe 95% of black males in Washington, D.C. are "crime-prone", because the Jews run the country, because I think USA-born children of illegals should not be given citizenship, because I want to keep lowering taxes since what we need is less funding of big brother. Hahahaha. Just kidding. Can all the Ron Paul fans go back to getting their political views from South Park now? Please?
It's not like it matters, he's not going to get the nomination. You can't argue against that, it's just not happening. I'd rather vote democrat in the primaries to help ensure that Obama wins against Hilary, because he is the only one who can beat McCain. I'd rather have Obama as president, than have McCain as president and have had made some BS political statement by throwing a vote away on Paul. I'm sick of being called out on this time and time again in this thread, when people would understand my reasoning if they just read my fucking posts.
McCain wants to invade Iran and Obama wants to invade Pakistan. the only change i see in his agenda is change of location in the mideast.
It really took you that long to figure that out? The mans polocies are retarted. I mean he rufuses to pass any legislature that is not dirrectly stated in the constitution. I too thought that this was a good plan at first, but then your read his positions and realize what that entails. First of all, it means hes against sending aide to any country. Including aide to help with the genocide in Sudan. This also means that he is against any enviormental standards. AT ALL. He believes that people should be free to polute as they wish, and on global warming says "climate change is not a major problem theatening civilization." He rejects universal health care. So if you want a guy who just says no to absolutly everything then go ahead, vote for Ron Paul.
Movements do not happen over night. In fact, they take quite a bit of time and effort; the fact that people here don't recognize that and are willing to give up because the foreign concept of "patience" has come into play is a little disgouraging. I believe that Ron Paul's campaign can be considered a success if a handful of public seats become filled by candidates of genuinely conservative principles. In fact, a lot of people I speak with frequently break down, abandon their pseudo mantra of "it can work so let's ignore it" and ultimately admit that they feel far too powerless to change anything for the better, but still admit that the current system is in absolute shambles. People need to start championing self-responsiblity: I think it's become all too clear how good centralized governments are at ensuring the well-being of its citizens (viz. FEMA efforts in New Orleans). Talk with your familiy and community, build a consensus, and then act on it through as many constructive outlets that are avaiable. It isn't rocket science.
jusdino4it, you really have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Thank god you arnt old enough to vote.
oh come on now. you're making him out to sound like he's lyndon larouche. what's so wrong about wanting a smaller sized federal government regulated by checks and balances? does the idea of not having an IRS or a federal income tax scare you that bad?
Why should the average taxpayer have to pay for drug addicted persons who choose to not be employed? It makes no sense. Ron Paul supports strict constitutional laws -- that is to say he believes in the ideas set down by the founding fathers that allowed the United States to become a great nation; only when those ideals were moved away from in the name of social improvement & at the behest of lobbyists and special interests did the nation go downhill. Global warming is not an issue that will be fixed by politicians; it will be fixed when people are willing to give up their lifestyles in order to prevent climate change. That means when you give up your computer, your car, plastic items, and put your money where your mouth is and encourage others to do the same will unnatural global warming cease. But that's not something you plan on doing, is it?
