one year!!!

    i cant believe it but its been a whole fucking year!! (in two days lol but patience isnt my strong point ;))
    somehow i never thought it would happen, but they really feel like a part of me. ive gone from just not giving a shit about my hair to really liking the way it looks and feeling like it really suits me.
    its locking up like mad lately and making all sorts of random formations. anyway, heres the piccys-

    i have TONS of loose hairs (my friend actually managed to make a dread out of some he found in the back lol) but it seems to have gotten to a point where they dont stick out so much but kinda cling to the rest. i expect they will eventually be sucked in.
    slyde, you made me blush lolz ;) i actually did backcomb at first but it all fell out. i also let friends play with them and separate them. as a result, i have two rounded tips and a couple that have been, crocheted, palmrolled, etc. but all of the locking was done by nature. i love how different they are. if i was to do it again, i would go the "neglect" route though.
    also, my dreads arnt actually that curly, i forgot to mention that i had just taken them out of french braids lol
