I only drink soda, and it tastes better out of a can than out of a plastic bottle. I have no idea why.
If I have a choice, I choose a cup. The bottle is second only if it is glass. Plastic and metal do funny things to the liquid inside them and I prefer to not drink from them.
BOTTLE - BUT NEVER PLASTIC. polispheryten (or how it is called) is highly poisonous!!! Boynd that it takes 100 year untill the Earth will pain desintegrate it. GLASS IS BETTER it is only a stone - quartz - SiO2
Depends! I prefer to drink milk from glasses, lemonades insofar as I like them in bottles or glasses, coffee in mugs and tea in cups! Beer, I mostly drink those half-a-liter cans of cheap beer and they taste fine, but so does beer from bottles. I don't like beer from glasses much because it means mostly that it's a tapped beer and usually those are too watery for my tastes (especially Heineken, Amstel and Oranjeboom). Hm, I drink wine preferably from glasses but when I'm feeling particularly self-destructive I will drink it straight from the bottle. Hard liquor I only drink from glasses because I simply don't buy it for home usage. Even in pubs or at parties I only drink liquor if I really want to get wasted, which is quite rare nowadays.
I agree! Also I do think lemonades and juices taste really inferior when drunk from a mug to when drunk from a glass.
tap, trough, and bung, are missing as options. although i usually use a cup for what comes out of the tap. trough's and fresh running streams are useful for life forms that lack adiquately manipulative appendages. leave us not forget they can be quite as awaire of their existence as the rest of us. some even carry on far more intelligent conversations. bungs, for those only familar with the colloqueal abuse of that term, are taps, or rather the holes of taps, applied to barrels and tanks, such as poney kegs and water trucks. i'm sure most of you are familiar with at least one of those. i do drink principally out of the kind of cups that hold a full cup or more of liquid, often called mugs, and generally used without saucers. probable because most of what i drink never saw a bottle or a can. some comes in plastic gallon jugs, but most involves boiling, filtering, adding and combining. thus the only way i could drink such things out of a can or bottle would be to put them in them myself. it IS generally simpler just to pour them into a cup, as the carafe or other cooking vessle would quite likely burn my lips. i do occasionally partake directly from the pitcher i keep in the fridge though. which contains generally only water, with perhapse a squeeze of lemon in it. =^^= .../\...
I'm a beer drinker mostly, so bottle. Although I have tried a good drink the other day. Absolut cut vodka mixed with lift soft drink and a few slices of lemon.
