What do you think is taking place during this glitch in the fabric? Purely phsyical and easily explained, or mystical clairvoyance, karma relapse, reincarnation acknowledgment, ???? And even if the phsyical explanation is simple, what becomes of free will? IF anything changes at all of course. Namaste.
OK, seriously. I have no idea how to explain what I think about this, but I'll try. Sometimes, I have small moments and abstract feelings of deja-vu, which I put down to the brain making associations with past events that we consciously can't actually remember. However, there are other more infrequent occasions when I can envision the whole conversation or situation unfolding before it actually happens. I believe that these are dreams which I have had, that I have somehow forgotten. I do think that I(we all) can dream about future situations and events and that these can actually come through. Whether that be because we dream so much that some things are actually bound to happen, or because of some sort of clairvoyant sixth sense, I have no idea. The mind boggles.
I agree, but tend to keep that opinion to myself. It feels like we are being made aware of the process of our, well, awareness as being manifested by God directly. The feeling of 'knowing' during stronger experiences than 'remembering' leaves me with a feeling that there is not free will nor control, we are like a program, the code with which God's creation is run by. It seems as if during these experiences, we come to terms with God and the are forced to accept the reality that everything is perfect, this is all how it should be but only because it has to be. But that's just my opinion, I love hearing others
i heard that deja vus are just something that happens in your brain, where it mistakens the past for the present.... something like that.. lol
or if you wanna get all religious shit, i also heard, that god showed you your entire life before you were born... and when a deja vu happens you're just remembering what he showed you. but by the time your born, you forget everything and then live it.
Yea I can totally see that, I undrestand the misfiring of neurons and all that, the delay in perception due to a super fast comprehension. BUT, I have had many deja vu-like experiences which not only left me with a sense of memory, but also with a firm understanding that I am watching this not from within, but from outside, not affected internally by the external stimul which produces the dazed trance but I feel as if I, my Self, is the very external stimuli and I feel a presence, a very powerful sense of being controlled, utterly helpless and as a happy child of God acting my part in Her divine play! Very strange but I guess the mentality or lack thereof of each individual will determine what the deja vu experience is like and how much it has an impact on all of us. Namaste!
I'm fascinated by the whole deja-vu concept.. had a conversation about this last time I got high in fact.. I really don't know what occurs - no one does, people make assumptions but we have no proof for them..
when you die, you are given the chance to revisit all the memories of your life. a deja vu is your future dead self come to have a look around. then once you're done, you move on to whatever comes next.
This reminds me of the Tibetan Buddhist concept, the measuring of white pebbles against black pebbles in the intermediate state between death and reincarnation. In that sense, it would seem that what you are referring to as the 'You' does not have to mean a Soul or the Self, but could be the state of withdrawn consciousness, which continues in another form different than body and mind identification, whether or not it reincarnates. Very interesting Jimmy, thank you
haha. always good to read your posts, man. you put it more eloquently than I ever could, that's pretty much my theory, I guess. different degrees of consciousness, beyond what our minds can imagine. plus I really like the idea of revisiting all the good times in my life when it's over
I know I already told you last night what I think, but here it goes again I feel like deja vu is a reminder that we are exactly were we need to be (like always) and things are just how they need to be. It's like an awakening into our own consciousness and even if it's just for a moment, we can see our life for what it really is.
I dont know if really, but that's how they feel to me. I get really weirded out when I'm feeling them, but at the same time they are very pleasant and leave with a positive feeling.
