greetings friends! i recently aquired some dry, powdered san pedro cacti in cusco, peru. i've been searching online for recipes. most recipes involve fresh cacti. there are a whole bunch of info about exctracting mescaline from the stuff too. I like to pick your massive brains re cooking recipes of the dry powdered stuff, vs going thru the hassle of extraction. any info would be greatly appreciated. Happy trips to all!
Try taking your powder in a non aluminum pot. Place and spread out along bottom. Mix together 1/3 lemon juice 2/3 distilled water. pour solution till it covers the powder. bring to a hard rapid boil. that is until it boils as you stir. pour through strainer, save liquid and return powder mush to pot for a reboil. complete 3 boils and gather finished strains. dispose of the powder mush. You could clean up the strained fluid but i think that would compromise some of it's magic. after it cools down abit, down it and chase with some water. The lemon juice helps with the taste but no flavor chaser can help you cross the bridge of taste to get to mescalito. water helps it move through the stomach into the blood stream. The whole ordeal takes about 20 to 30 min to prepare.
yea the method above really works wonders I used it with great results...^^^ just got my 56g of T. macrogonus....looks like friday night is going to be a blast...
if you wouldnt mind me impeding upon your endless stores of cacti knowledge, How do i make the powder used in this method. i really want to try SP and drying sounds like the easiest way. but ive also heard of freezing it then blending it and boiling it. Which way would you guys say is the fastest\easiest. eace:
