Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. School is way too busy!

I was wondering if anyone knew of any academic resources or link to information about ethnobotanicals Native to Souther Nevada/Northern Arizona. I'm trying to learn more about the natural resources available in this region.

    Thanks!

Ummm There always the Ethyl M gardens out by the old Vo-tech...
Dunno if they have a website, but I'd look for one anyway...

Having once upon a time walked the 300 miles between Vegas and Phoenix (Couldn't get a ride!), I can tell you that the Joshua tree is rampant in the sandy areas as is the common sage. (Tumbleweeds after they die) The Saguaro (SP) cacti can save your life if you ever get lost out there. (DON'T swallow the juice, just chew the heart of the plant for moisture)

Yep. The flora in this region can teach humans to survive in the same conditions.
