cakes stuck in jars

    I'm using 1/2 pint wide mouth canning jars, but the cakes still get suck in the jars at birth. Any ideas on how to get them out?

    Smack them on a table. If they are shoulderless, this shouldn't be a problem.

    Yeah being rough with them should get those cakes to plop right out. I've had to slam a jar or two.
