here are some facts: -cattle generate 18% of the total CO2 emmision, it is more than what car traffic generates. -coffee plantations in costa rica(as an example): because of all the chemicals used for growing the coffee, every years 700 workers get acute toxic poisoning and fall seriously ill, and 30 workers die, only in costa rica (buy organic coffee...) -still the US refuses to sign the Kyoto protokoll, (160 countries have signed it, 16 feb 2006) and bush the older said 15 years ago: "the american lifestyle is not negociable". -a plastic bottle can still be in the sea, after 450 years.
