I just got the DVD in the mail today. WOW i love it. So cool to see a dead show from inside and out. For all of you who have seen it, post a little something on here on when was the first time you saw it and what you thought.
Close Encounters ........With a console tv.... ha ha ha .........baked on the floor.....Thats who I am been riding out wit a rockin roll band........
The "truckin'" and "eyes of the world" are especially delicious. The interviews with Jerry and Billy are great. And Phil playing around with his bass and the feedback from the movie camera before "goin' down the road." The nitrous oxide party towards the end is classic. Perfect. But, I wish we could get a concert/documentary of the guys during the late sixties.
yeah i love that movie too iv probally watched it about 15 times.... have you ever saw the dvd closing of winterland.... its about just as good as the movie it has interviews of special credits and interviewings of the band later on like current times and they retell all of their memories...its really grate you should watch that one too.
