Hey guy the spring is coming up and that means shrooms will be back in season! I have never boomed ,but I am going to this spring! what should I look for in shrooms? I dont want to buy shrooms that could kill me through poision! what are the charectors of a quality shroom?
Hosestly Dont pick up any shrooms and eat them even if they look like some shit you see in pictures.. If you absolutely dont know shit about shrooms.. Learning about them over night on the web is impossable... i suggest you collect and dont consume anything intill 100% positive its a psycoactive shroom and not a poisonous one..Doing very close examinations of spore prints, location of find..coloring which dont mean they are magic just cause they blue.... ect...
you are far far far less likely to get a poisonous mushroom from a dealer than to pick a poisonous mushroom if you don't know what you're doing. mushroom identification can be tricky. don't try to find it yourself, its NOT safe at all. grow your own if you're really worried about getting good mushrooms. www.shroomery.org
if i were to go picking and i post a picture of them on here would someone who does know shrooms well be able to tell weather they're good or not, like can someone tell from just a picture?
I could give you an educated guess, but I'm no expert. Take sporeprints, pictures, observations. I am just interested in seeing what you find. Definitely educate yourself. There are a few very convincing looking poisonous mushrooms.
Well everytime i have taken em has been from someone who i have some what trust. That and they have already taken em.
BUY THEM, I have commented on so many of these “Can I pick my own shrooms" threads it's unbelievable. Buy from a dealer that you trust (As far as you can trust a dealer . . .) Don't forget some dealers will and do rip people off.

no you cant tell shit from just a picture although posting a picture will get some dumbasss to claoim they knoiew what theyre saying and could end up killin ya
Ive never done shrooms or even seen them outside of pictures and the news but I do know this... a non lethal poison is what causes the trip, I know its already known but I felt like contributing.
wrong!!!!! the trip is caused by a non toxic chemical (well problky toxic in high enough doses) but there are other toxic substances in many shrooms some shrooms are both toxic and potent others just potent and some just toxic but not potent then theres the ones concidered edible which are neither toxic or potent theres varieties that youyd have to eat enough to cause liver failure to come close to tripping theres some that are safe to eat an ounce and trip heavy as hell and some a lil experimental nibble would potentialy kill u a weeek after u try it incidently, since the 1st nibble didnt kill ya within an hour u might be tempted to try a few just to see if u trip ya wont know a things wrong till a week later yoiur dead
Shrooms can kill you a week after consumption? REALLY? Anything to back that up? Not calling you a liar...just skeptical and curious
Get bit by a squirrel and you could die a few days later from blood poisoning. May not realize that your liver is shutting down if you got some bad fungi and it could creep up on you. Don't know exactly WHAT about it would kill you, but I do see it happening.
if you want to get your own shrooms... buy an identification book... always make sure that the spore prints are blue or purple or you can buy a grow box www.mush-e-mart.com (they dont ship to the us)
soaring egles right... aminitas can kill at tripping doses and pcilibybin (the active chemical in most shrooms) is a vascluar contrictant... like lsd... if you take enough it can constict your blood vessels enough to kill you.... you have to have like 10x a regular dose though
