I agree with M4N14C on most subjects, this is no exception. this forum is going to hell, and to tell the truth, im only here for some people who i like discussing with, some debating with, some catching up and it just goes on. ava honestly you havent been here long enough to realise the problem. i used to come here to escape reality, i believe this goes for alot of people. here i could learn. the world sucks, mass population is full of sheep and morons, here used to be the most packed place of intellectuals i had yet found. thats why i stuck, extremely great people still come here, and post after you post you understand theyre oppinions and where theyre coming from. < well that was more of the old day thing, now this place is as crowded with idiots as my local fucking pub, which makes the intellectual posts harder to find, good topics harder to keep track off, and generally just waste time looking at dupe posts and clone noobs. fucking hell. Skip started a great thing, I HAVENT been here from the beggining, but i have been a regular for 2 years. and i can say this place has been through shitstorms, and its hard to even understand how it went so downhill :/

last words for me this is going around in circles if you don't like the way the forum is sort it out ie start a new private forum for the oldtimers just complaining post after post about the good old days have gone you sound like a bunch of boring old farts thank god for the other forums
well sod off to other forums then. if you read my post and explanation, you will realise this is one of the few places i can relax and come to for personal and intellectual education.
i just cant keep up with all of the other forums on this site. i like to just chill out here in the stoner lounge. ive always liked the people here but its to bad that alot of them are leaving. im pretty baked right now i took like 4 hits from what was left in my pipe. i havnt smoked anyting for a few days so i figured id take a few hits today. im watching fresh prince and its cracking me up right now LOL

man you haven't a fuckin clue. The core group of posters who made this an exciting forum left a long time before L-foote did, and for that matter before you ever joined so you have to keep that in perspective. We are in need of our Bongologist and Drug Geek. As for the search issue, that's waht i've been saying for years kiddos.
I can't say exactly why the two threads were closed but I'd try and steer clear of turning an "I'm leaving" theme into a discussion thread as post about how things "used to be" will suggest to people that there's something wrong with the forums now... well, this is an awesome site and the folks who continue to participate will make it that way now and in the future. I'm sorry to see some people go but lives change and just about to every last individual here, new circumstances will afford them less time or inclination to participate the way they "used to" and as alluded to by freedom, it's up to the remaining regulars to step up. New members will join and begin posting- each with something unique to bring to the table. For those of you getting bored with this particular forum, there are hundreds more on this site; many at least as active with a group of regulars. Instead of leaving Hipforums try exploring the rest of it before deciding that coming here is no longer worth your time.
