I'm pretty new to the rolling scene, and I just have a few questions for any of you who may happen to be able to answer them. First off, assuming (though non-realistically) relatively pure pills, what frequency/intensity of use does it take before the permanent side effects go from nominal to significant (I would define significant as something i would notice in a brain scan or something that would lower my ability to perform any given task to a point where it was noticeable) As for the thread title, well, I've done it a total of four times over the last six weeks, and every experience has been drastically different, so I'd like to know if anyone could help with possible adulterants. First time (Pink Ambersands (&), about 9PM): Took one, waited two hours and took two more after no noticable effects, then had a mild and calm roll for a couple hours. no noticable hangover, but a lot was smoked the next day so that may be negligable. Girlfriend took one (also first time) and got so hyper that she would get angry if i tried to talk to her or get her to stop jumping around. She didn't stop moving for about three hours, and rolled hard till about 3am when we both crashed. She claimed a terrible hangover the next day with depression and headaches. Second time (Blue diamonds, around 8PM): Took two, took an additional half every half hour for an hour and a half (three halfs), then did a couple small lines (one pill made about six lines). Much better roll overall, more calm and a lot more empathetic. Girlfriend took one and rolled roughly the same way i did despite the difference in amounts. Lasted about four hours and we both went to sleep around midnight. Both the first and the second time we both woke up after about three hour to four hours of sleep and were unable to fall back. I'll leave the third time out because i took six pills over the course of 12 hours and every single one was different, and my girlfriend did three, none of the nine total pills shared the same logo and most were different colors. (boss, rolex, playboy, diamond, and some other random stuff) Fourth time (Green Glock(gun)'s, taken around 11PM): This experience, even though i only took a pill and a half, was the best roll I've ever had to the point where it made the first three nights seem as boring as writing a paper for english. Really awesome roll and body high for all people around, my brother said that of the two years he's been rolling, it was the best roll he'd experienced (he took two). At around 2AM, smoked roughly two bowls per person, and i started having very intense closed eye hallucinations and a general loss of reality comperable to what I've experienced with mushrooms. The next day I experienced a very intense body high until about 6 or 7 PM, and then a mild depression for the second day after I'd taken it. The green guns were also notably softer/crumblier than the other pills, as some pills had slightly rubbed off logo's just from mild handling. If anyone could refer me to a site or if someone could make a list of common side effects from certain adulterants (especially speed, opiates, and mescaline), and what the big differences are between MDMA/MDA/PMA are, i would greatly appreciate it. I've looked around on erowid a lot, but it can be a bit hard to compile and navigate sometimes. Thanks in advance!
"First off, assuming (though non-realistically) relatively pure pills, what frequency/intensity of use does it take before the permanent side effects go from nominal to significant (I would define significant as something i would notice in a brain scan or something that would lower my ability to perform any given task to a point where it was noticeable)" Well it depends on the person, thier overall health, if they are taking any other drugs ect. But for a normal healthy person taking pills more than once a month for about 6 months - a year is probably going to lower there ablitlty to perform certain tasks. So for instance, taking 4 pills once every two weeks for 9 months is going to have a pretty noticable effect on you. But there really is no set limits, everyone is different, assuming pills are relatively pure is like you say, is very unrealistic. Some people will get away with munching down any random pills they come across twice a week for 3 or 4 months before they notice anything and some people will be quivering depressed gittery wrecks after taking one relatively pure pill a week for two months. But going on anicdotale evidenve and my own personal experience anything more than once a month is too excesive and preferabley you really want to limit your intake to five or six times a year maximum.
"If anyone could refer me to a site or if someone could make a list of common side effects from certain adulterants (especially speed, opiates, and mescaline), and what the big differences are between MDMA/MDA/PMA are, i would greatly appreciate it." All that info is on erowid, just search for MDA or PMA or MDMA or amphetamines. But opiates aren't that common an adulterant (although they do show up in some pills) because opiates usually command a similar or higher street value when sold as opiates so there isn't much reason for anyone to mix them into ecstacy tablets. The side effects are sedation, nausea, dizziness, diahrea. Speed is very commonly found in ecstacy tablets, the side effects include raised heart rate, sweating, headahce, raised blood pressure - the usual things you can expect from stimulants. Mescaline is never ever ever found in ecstacy tablets so you don't need to worry about that.
ok, i know I've been told that there are "mescaline based pills" which cause hallucinations, do you think this could just be a mistake for MDA based pills?
Probably more like one of the 2C family rather than MDA, MDA is only slightly more hallucinagenic than MDMA and a million miles away from being mistaken for mescaline. "Mesclaine" based pills are a long standing myth though, most people that take ecstacy will hear something about them at some stage, but they certainly don't exist.
4 times in 6 weeks? eh maybe want to space it out a little more. and if you really want to know whats in your shit, buy a testing kit.
