I've decided to share with you all the way that I've come to understand existance, what we are composed of, the void (or the vacuum) which Rygoody is apparently very interested in, the veils of reality which block perception of our true nature (aka the darkness, or maya), and the primal cause of all causes, the Nature of reality itself. I feel that if the way I describe our existance is utilized during a psychedelic trip, then many things will become apparent to any of you, and hopefully some will attempt to look at reality in this manner and come back and teach us some new insights! I typically like to begin at the beginning, but in this case, being that perception of God is a reverse process of consciousness, I will begin at the end, the result of God's desireless desire to create. The Seven Lokas (Sphere's of reality, or Planes, Levels, etc.) 7. Satyaloka : This loka is the sphere within all spheres, or loka within all lokas, and is God Himself as He is in His Creation. It is nameless, formless, vibrationless, spirit pure and without karma. This is the loka at the Heart of all lokas, it is the innermost abode of all truth and love. Sat is Truth, Sat is God, Sat is your true Nature. Hence, Sat Chit Ananda. 6. Tapaloka : This loka is the next sphere to come into existance. It is what is known in the West as the Holy Spirit. It is Om, the primal Sound which caused matter to be, directed by the Will of God. We can commune with Om only after we are blessed with divine insight. Om is the Inaccessable loka, because unless we "become as little children" (pure, even if only temporarily) we can not have access to God's initial emanation. 5. Janaloka : Jana, or Intelligence, is what composes this loka. This loka is what is known as the Son of God, because it is the Intelligence that guides Om, or the Holy Spirit. To tap into this level or reality is to tap into Christ Consciousness. This is the Grand Conductor of our Cosmic vibrational symphony, it is the intelligence with which "one can move mountains". This is where, intially, the idea of seperate existance, or individuality, seperation amongst creation, begins to descend. 4. Maharloka : This loka is the Great Door which connect the spiritual planes and the material planes. This is the first level of reality which when transcended reveals the higher planes of God's Creation. 3. Swarloka : This is the loka of individuality, itself, or the atom. This loka is the magnetic aura which surrounds every atom, and is the Great Vacuum. This loka is the absence of all creation, or at least the reflection of all creation, and is the Void which we may easily become confused in when attempting to understand the finer, subtle electricities which compose existance. 2. Bhuvarloka : Bhuvarloka is the second to the last emantion of spirit. It is composed entirely of the subtle electricities as mentioned above. All gross matter is absent here, so this loka is the Ordinary, or Simple Vacuum. The Light of Creation is only reflected here, and this immense power (thought MUCH weaker compared to the ascending lokas) can be a cause for much destruction or much positive energy. 1. Bhuloka : This loka is your reality as you see it from the time you shed the innocence of childhood until the time you begin to transcned existance. This is the world and universe as you know it, and is the most complex only because we, using the miscreation of thought, designed it that way. But it is essentially very simple and is easily transcended when one begins yoga (soul-union) or dyhana (meditation). The Koshas (Sheaths, veils of cosmic deluison) 5. The core of all matter, the Heart, the Chit of Sat Chit Ananda. Chit is the cause of existance. It is Love, divine love. This is what causes all attraction towards Sat, God. This is the glue that binds atoms together seemingly automatically. This Love causes all attraction and allows for perfect balance and harmony within the macrocosmic and microcosmic (reflections of one and the other in the same) realms. 4. This kosha is Truth, the Magnetic Intelligence which guides the discrimination between what is false and what is reality. 3. This is Manas, or Mind, the ego which is the aftermath of intelligence. Manas and Chitta are the polar ends of the structure of mentality, as one leads to ego awareness (seperation) and the other leads to God consciosness (Oneness). 2. Pranamaya Kosha is the kosha, obviously, of Prana, or the vital life-energy which sustains all living organisms. This is the energy, in Asia known as Chi, which is absorbed through the medulla oblongota and is thus evenly disrtibuted throughout the body, resting at all chakras through the channels called nadis. 1. This is gross matter, the nourishment of physical bodies, as compared to prana, the nourishment of astral or spiritual bodies. The Vacuum is something that is not exactly important as it is a diversion to Sat. The vacuum is something that we were not there to comprhened, thus, it is incomprehensible. A taste for it leaves one confused and wrapped up in the negative polarity, or tapas, one of the three gunas (direction of thought-generation). The Gunas are three in number and are as follows : 1. Satva : Positive energy 2. Rajas : Neutral energy 3. Tamas : Negative energy Prakriti is the female cause of creation of which all Nature is a manifestation of, and works through Her three Gunas. In other word's Prakriti is just another name for what we commonly understand to be Mother Nature, a term which is often thrown around very loosely. Her cause, Purusha, is the name for the Nameless, the indescribable, God the Father of Cosmic Vibrational Existance.
If we are to take into consideration that we are composed of atoms, just as all gross matter is, then we will very easily understand the Oneness of vibrational harmony. Every atom in your body is composed of it's own universe, and ascending the structure of the atom one comes to know the primal cause to be Love, the Intelligence that directs it, the Sound which it is generated by, and the Father of which it is emanated from. Understanding God is impossible, but one can be directed by the Will of God, indeed one may awaken one's own consciousness as the Mind of God the Cosmic Dreamer, rather than remain dreamed by our very own manifestation from the Kundalini. It is most definitley a reversal process and the mind must transcend its simple nature in order to grasp the more subtle levels of reality, and this is easily, actually automatically gained through LSD but it wears off and tends to confuse the mind experience. But with meditation, this becomes apparent, no matter what you call them names are just meant for easy access. There are subtle structures to the nature of the atom, and everything is a reflection of itself. The atom is a reflection of truth, truth is a reflection of Om, Om is a reflection of Spirit, Spirit is a reflection of God, and all of this shines brightly across the darkness of maya *
Thank you Cat! And definitley, we will, it comes in waves just like this post  This thread, though it's very short, is not something I just made up, it is accordingly wrapped around the nature of the Yoga Sutra's of Patanjali, as shared with all of us by Paramahansa Yogananda and his ascending lineage of masters beginning with Mahavatar Babaji, who taught Kriya Yoga to Lahiri Mahasaya, who in turn taught it to Yogananda's parents and Sri Yukteswar himself, Yogananda's guru. I love this quote from Yogananda regarding his first encounter with his guru : "We entered a oneness of silence; words seemed the rankest superfluities. Eloquence flowed in soundless chant from heart of master to disciple. With an antenna of irrefragable insight I sensed that my guru knew God, and would lead me to Him. The obscuration of this life disappeared in a fragile dawn of prenatal memories. Dramatic time! Past, present, and future are its cycling scenes. This was not the first Sun to find me at these holy feet!" How he says "my guru knew God" is the same feeling I get when I look at those eyes. The eyes are the window to the soul and when the soul being reflected is liberated, moksha, it shows. There is no question of authority because there is no author other than God. A true master puts sensitive and insecure mentalities to shame because he Knows, and he leaves other's with the feeling that there is most definitley something greater than this fascade. Suns and moons, star dusts and universes, all of them are light shows dancing on the screen of maya, and at the heart of all atoms burns the power of love emanated from God Himself. Namaste! Om shanti shanti shanti om
Okay, I read the post...I liked it, but I dont really understand what LSD has to do with all this. It helps to grasp the more subtle levels of reality ? It awakens one's own consciousness ? How can a man's made substance do that ? Oh and I've never taken LSD or any other drugs, so maybe thats it.
LSD helps the mind get past certain 'mental blocks' if you will that prevent us from understanding the nature of reality. And what is a man made substance? Nothing more than a manipulation or alteration of God made chemicals which we can only copy and transform. Nothing is man made Piaf, only man altered. -
Damn, you are smart... I see what you're getting at. I've read a lot about similarities between religious mystical experiences and effects of LSD...I am curious but also too scared to try it...especially since , medically speaking, nobody knows exactly how LSD works. I mean I know it binds to serotonin receptors in the brain, but it is still unknown how this translates into a psychedelic trip. Well, we'll see...
If you ever decide to give it a try, then I wish you good luck! It's not for everyone, and as much beauty it can reveal comes an equal amount of darkness, but what in life isnt a balance of both? LSD just amplifies it all Thank you for reading my post Piaf, and God bless you my friend. Namaste *
Ah well... With beauty and happiness comes darkness and pain... You know what they say - If everything is going perfect , and you are completely happy, put a stone in your shoe just to remind yourself that there is no such thing as utter happiness. Its the balance you're talking about. Yeah, LSD probably isnt for me. What kinda medical student would I be if I took drugs, right ? God bless you too....
yup--that's exactly it. unless you have tried it, it's hard to understand. you'll have to take our word for it--but i bet if you read through some of the older threads on here you will see that it does just by the volumes of conversations we have had about spirituality and lsd and combined. ps--i know of many doctors who suffer with alcoholism--personally i'd rather my doctor did lsd than drink--even if it were just socially.
I am a bit sceptical. However, I might try it...I would like to. Although I am scared...You know...How will I react and stuff like that. I dont want to take it and then do some crazy stuff
Great post Relayer! I would just add one thing, witch you mentioned, but I want it to stick it out. All those Spheres of reality, all those smart words that you used witch I can't even pronounce properly (not mentioning remembering), all of that can be altered only if you follow the LOVE! I would compare it to the rope that is tied for you and the exit of the cave system. You really don't see where you are going through, but when you follow that rope, you are on the right way, it will eventually take you out on the light. When ever you have difficult time, stop thinking, follow the rope! Love you all!
Thanks Shapey They are just sanskrit words to attempt to label the levels of reality. But I've done much study on the matter, in fact I study it the most. Have you ever noticed that in Revelations they talk about the 7 churches with 7 candles adn 7 angels? And in Al-Qu'ran it is mentioned more than once that there is 7 levels of heaven? And in Revelations again, St. John mentions 20 and 4 things around a table (I cant remember what), and when you add up the sum of matter's breakdown with the 7 levels of existance, the number comes out to 24. Strange. But beautiful!
Its fascinating...The Bible can be interpreted in so many ways...and theres so much symbolism....especially in the Revelation...Like the number 7... the seven seals (accordin to the esoteric view its the seven chakras and the consequence of opening them is the unleashing of the physiological forces that reside there), seven events..and everything else Relayer mentioned.
This caught my eye! This may be EXACTLY what they are now calling "dark energy". It surrounds every galaxy as well as every atom. It is nearly invisible, pretty much unmeasurable (directly), yet they know it must exist cause the universe doesn't make sense without it. And it's desperately needed to balance the universal equations of energy and matter. Scientists believe the Dark Energy exists as a balancing force that keeps matter together, preventing all matter from disbursing throughout the universe. So it has a MAGNETIC basis, attracting matter and keeping it in place. So it could very well be this Swarloka.
i have the hardest time getting into the groove of us all being like this interconnected feeling. I'm so used to having spent my life in my corner of alone-ness and all these other things people talk about and show are things seperate than me... It still just baffles me when something comes to me that is a seemingly familiar feeling to multitudes of people.
hmm, odd. for those who are interested, the 7 levels of existence are: Physical, Astral, Mental, Buddhic, Atmic, Anupadaka and Adi something VERY interesting i found through google. The Mental Dimension This is a spectacular dimension! Iridescent rivers of sound bounded by rainbow shores of pulsating light. Thoughts appear as kaleidoscopic patterns of light and sound. You walk across fields of ideas under a sparkling crystal sky of inspiration. If you enter this world don't try to rationalize or understand it, or you may go mad, for it is beyond human understanding. Just accept it all, go with the flow and enjoy it! This dimension is what, I believe, the ancient Vikings called the famed "Rainbow Bridge" into Asgard. It truly looks and feels as if you are walking up a rainbow into some wonderful world where the Gods must surely dwell. Exist here in wondrous amazement. Let loose the child within you to play in this fairy wonderland. Everything feels real and solid. Time is even further distorted here than in the Astral and reality is kaleidascopic. Buddhic Dimension This is a warm, abstract world filled with utter peace and infinite love. It is a dimension of pure White. There is no sight or sound perception here other than the all pervading, brilliant White. In this dimension you very quickly relinquish conscious thought and individuality. You cannot think for long once you enter here and there is no need or desire to do so. There is an irresistible urge drawing you into a quiet stillness. It is like being immersed in warm, pure White cotton wool. In this world you cease to be an individual and you become, PART OF THE ONE. You also cease to be male or female. In a way this is like returning to the Mother's womb. You are surrounded, absorbed and assimilated by infinite loving warmth, understanding, forgiveness and atonement. AT-ONE-MENT Time here ceases to have any meaning. If you enter this world you will never, ever want to leave it, you cannot leave it, until your physical body calls and drags you back. This is the healing, resting place of the soul. Atmic Dimension This dimension appears to be the spirit world. Here, spirits wait for those they loved during their time on earth. This is the happy place of the gathering. It is the place where the reunion of souls takes place. The light in this world is purest, brightest silver, brighter than the flash of an arc welder. It is so bright it seems impossible to look at, but it is, for all that, a supremely gentle light, soft and soothing. It is the light of divine love. The people here appear as they did in the physical world, but at their most magnificent. They glow ecstatically, ablaze with the brightest love, happiness and joy imaginable. The atmosphere is electric and vital, but at the same time deeply spiritual. In this world you can FEEL the presence of God as a tangible all pervading force. Communication here, is done by high level telepathic imaging, similar to one-on-one clairvoyance only much more vivid and real. It leaves speech and thought for dead. Time stands utterly still here. Reality is more real and solid than normal reality. Compared to this, the physical world is a vague, tired dream full of half dead people. I have entered this dimension only four times in my life. Each time from the very deepest consciousness raising meditation, with all my chakras wide open and fully functioning. There was also extreme crown chakra activity. The feeling of this was like a thousand fingers vibrating, and deeply massaging, the whole top of my head above the hairline. On these four occasions my energy has soared to seemingly impossible heights within me, carrying my spirit and consciousness with it. At the climax of this deeply mystical experience I have heard the sound of one long, pure musical note slowly rising in pitch. I have felt this note in the core of my being, in my heart, calling me, drawing me to it. I have focused on this note and attuned to it. With every ounce of strength and energy I possessed I have focussed my consciousness on it and projected to it. Stripping away my physical body, I have projected straight into this dimension. It was just like stepping, slipping, through a heavy curtain into another place and another world. I am still aware of my physical body, duality, during this whole experience. I look about me with wonder, the light is so silver and bright it burns deeply into my soul and I can feel its healing touch within me. There in front of me is my long dead son. He was eight years old when he left me, and he looked just as he did when I last saw him. He was beaming with happiness, his eyes bright and shining. I cuddled him up to me and wept with the joy of seeing him. I looked beyond him and there was a large crowd of people waiting for me. These were all the friends and family I had known and loved and lost during my life. There were also many people I did not know. They all seemed very familiar though and I felt I loved them all. They were clapping and jumping up and down, cheering me in greeting. There were many tears of joy and lots of hugging and kissing. Looking beyond them, I see we are in a natural stone amphitheatre. The ground is smooth rock and it rises to a ridge a couple of hundred meters away that curves towards us. On the top of this ridge are Angels. They looked just like Michaelangelo painted them. They were incredibly beautiful, with large White feathered wings, curly Golden hair and Alabaster skin. They were blowing long sparkling golden horns, and the pure high note came from them. Stepping from the crowd I walked into the open. I look in awe at these angels and wave at them. The note started to die away as I did this and the Angels began lowering their horns. I stand for a timeless moment in silence, looking all around me. Then everything began to shimmer and I slipped, fell back into my physical body. I wept. I have never wanted to come back.
The Swarloka! This magnetic attraction towards Truth, the Source of every multiverse! I find it intersting because while I try and mantain an additude that all phenomena are products of the Esssence of Mind, how can I deny these truths? Unless they serve a much greater importance that even the ancient rishi's missed. I feel that we can not comprehend God and I doubt I will ever change this opinion, but how do we deny these experiences with the attraction of Love towards Truth? During many psychedelic trips, I felt that God directly took control of my awareness and exposed me to much profound joy in wonders, as well as the darkest of mental hell and torture, only to leave me hanging by some kind of thread like a peice of string tied to a banister blowing wildly in a hurricane. Then the storm subisdes and Im left peaceful and resting in the bliss of the sunrise on a calm morning. How can I allow myself to say that this is all JUST mental manipulation, the very act of creation of God which we all posess making us 'made in His image'? We are all on to something with these compounds that force silly grins, and the rishi's were onto something that I feel science itself may not ever fully catch up to. I dont know that there is that much time left for the Sun Namaste
