I probably have been electrocuted at least 5 times in my life..nothing major though, thankfully..and on to some dumb electricity story. Thanks for allowing my randomness. I was in Tijuana, Mexico about 5 years ago..it was just me and a couple of friends..drinking, eating tacos, dancing with girls, partying.. At about 3 am..pretty much toasted beyond belief we decide to head back and we run into this older Mexican man with a sombraro and a metal box strapped to his chest..hmm..I am interested.. After talking to him for a few minutes he says that it cost 2 bucks for him to shock you..he assures me it is safe..what you do is hold on to these 2 metal rods, one in each hand..he has a dial and he turns up the electric current until you cant stand no more and he stops.. being drunk out of my mind, fuck it, I will do it..he does it, I feel it coming on, but I can do it, my body jerks, I stiffen up, my head and face paralyzed and my hands stuck to the rods he dosent turn it off, he is trying but something is not working right..at that instant my friend tackles me from the side, jerking the cord out of the machine..phew, that was a close one..we go into the next bar, drink 2 shots of tequila, eat some tacos and stumble back to the border.
I want a machine like that, or maybe some tequila. We used to mess around with the electric fence at my granny's place when I was a kid. It was fun. I'd love to survive being struck by lightning. It would make a great bar story.
I have touched an electric fence a few times. At the buffalo farm, and around horses. It felt pretty wicked. Almost like blacking out, except you are conscious.
I used to put my dogs electric collar on my little brothers neck then go out of the yard and tell him to come over and look at something... I was cruel
I've electrocuted myself plenty of times - once on some christmas lights, once on a mobile phone charger, a couple of times playing with sockets [i jammed a screw driver into one when i was 2 and melted the handle, luckily i was alright although it threw me back abit. And i made my own tazer from a disposible camera and proceeded to try it out on myself. And i've electrocuted myself countless numbers of times on 12/24V stuff - my mates outboard on his boat used to give me a shock every time i turned the ignition off. Leccy just keeps the ticker sweet - or stops it - i guess its the luck of the draw lol.
I work with lights alot in theater and concert venues. I've been shocked way too many times to count. The most unexpected was a doorbell mounted on some plywood, that sumbitch hurt!
I thought electrocution usually ends in serious injuries or death and it's just electric shock otherwise. Anyway, past my nitpicking, I haven't been shocked other than static electricity in years. I learned my P's and Q's about electricity at a young age, lol.
Yeah. electrocution is death by electric shock. So i'm pretty sure nobody here has been electrocuted. hm, unless they got killed and then resuscitated? but probably not. haha. I've gotten shocked by small amounts of electricity many many times, but one time when I was proably about 6 or so I was laying on the floor, crying, and having a fit because I was a fucked up child, and I picked up the plug to the vacuum and stuck my fingers between the prongs and then plugged it in. That was crazy.
Its fucked up how pissing on an electric fence is something man must expirment with.. To this day that was one of the worst 5 minutes of my life.
No If you mean something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPmVhyHBRAM&feature=related Hotwater
i've never gotten that urge... i have touched electric fences plenty of times as a child, never intentionally. the worst was when i was standing in a big tub of water and it got my right in the middle of my lower back. felt like someone came up and punched me in the back as hard as they could... i certainly can't imagine wanting to feel that on my penis...
I was gonna say this. I remember my brother putting nails in the end of extension cord. It started to shock him and he was running around with the cord stuck to him. I laughed.
when I was in my 20's I was mopping the floor behind the fridge, had it pulled out... in a big puddle with barefeet I stood there, mopping ...mopping.... and suddenly I got this huge jolt... it knocked me back a couple of feet (I think)
I was talking to my dad while he was frying okra in a skillet at his house in north florida during an electrical storm, which are quite common there. I bolt hit right outside the window and came through the stove to knock him backwards into the fridge and okra flew everywhere. I laughed.
