Ok, so for some reason my doctor decided to not give me any more vicodin and try me on Tylenol 3's... I have been treated for a kidney stone ( really ouch ) and have taken vicodin many times for the pain, and for fun question is, are Tylenol 3's anything as fun or as good as vicodin? I think she might of given me them instead because she is afraid I might get addicted to vicodin ( well, its too late for that! ) Thoughts please? I can usually take 3 or 4 vicodin 10mgs/500 for a good time...
yeah, tylenol 3 doesnt compare at all too vicodens. You'd probably have to take 5 or 6 to get the equal buzz. they have more tylenol and only 3mg of hydrocodone instead of the 5 you get in vicoden.
T3s suck, they have 30mg of codeine, you need 250mg to get an average/mild opiate buzz they are not the same thing as vics and they are pretty crappy just say it doesnt do it for you and get some more vics
yeah codeine and hydrocodone are not the same.. shit they gave me tylonol 3's when i was 15 for migraines... didnt even bother to take em recreationally since i wasnt into pills back then, but i made a nice profit selling em to kids at my school.
Wow...Tylenol 3's don't have ANY hydrocodone. Sorry Nickles, but you're sadly misinformed. Tylenol 3's have 30mg of Codeine and 300mg of Tylenol, but ZERO hydrocodone. To the OP, tell your doc that the T3's give you stomach problems, many people have such a reaction to codeine and therefore your doc will likely believe you and put you back on the hydrocodones (vicodin). Many people do not tolerate codeine well because it can cause an adverse effect in the stomach and intestinal lining causing acidic buildup. That makes it totally believable that you feel sick when taking the T3's. I used the same story to get my doctors to prescribe me oxycodone based medications (percocet, oxycontin) instead of hydrocodone and it has always worked like a charm. Hope you have similar results. Also, another thing that you could do which would make your overall opiate experience better is to ask your doctor to prescribe you Vicoprofen instead of vicodin. Vicodin has a ration of 1/100 hydrocodone/tylenol. Since tylenol (in any doseage above the 2000mg daily reccomendation) is dangerous to your liver and you already have a kidney stone issue, you can tell your doc that you read about the danger of tylenol and saw that there was an alternative: Vicoprofen, which is 7.5mg hydrocodone/200mg ibuprofen. Since ibuprofen is almost impossible to OD on (you could take 10,000mg and not have any hazard) that means that with vicoprofen you could take as many as you wanted during a day without having to worry that you're doing lasting, irreversable damage to your liver. Cool eh? Good luck, -V
