The Killers

Anyone else listening to the new Killers album Sam's Town? I'm pretty impressed. Some good songs are Sam's Town, When you were young, and Bones.

 

I was determined not to like this album, but eventually I listened and dammit its alright. Same standard as the first one (if we ignore its annoyance factor due to massive heavy rotation). Half not bad, half pretty poor. Agree on When we were young being a great track, Bones Im not so sure on. Still a good idea to have left the Britpop sound alone for the second opus and embrace the Springsteen.!

 

Don't like it. Rubbish. My friends disagree and like it. But as usual they're wrong and i'm right.

 

Bones is okay-ish, haven't heard any else from it

 

There is seriously so much better music out there being released than The Killers, let alone all the unsinged bands that are better than them as well.

i like it. my favorite is for reasons unknown.

 

i like their new song called Shadow play.

but nothing else on that album seems to be worth listening to. lol

I like Tranquilize just cause it has a strange feel to it and it's got Lou Reed on it. Didn't much care for the rest of the album though.

 

hmm i keep listening to under the gun from their sawdust album i think that, for reasons unknown, and smile like you mean it are my favorites

 

not much of a Killers fan......
in fact thier cover of Joy Division's Shadowplay (which was really shitty) is probably what made me dislike them so much

I haven't heard it. I'm listening to dub side right now...if I listen to the Killers I'll probably throw up. Will do soon though.
