Anyone attend these festivals? Atlanta Pop II was in 1970 and Celebration of Life was in '71 in Louisiana. Some info in 'Back to the Garden' but can't post to it yet. There are some great recollections as well on messyoptics.com as well as photos. There were film crews everywhere for the Celebration of Life, but never saw any footage anywhere. Does anyone remember the Be-In in Central Park, NYC in the spring of 1967?
I was there - Hitched from Jackson, Ms. Ooooh so HOT! One of the best times of my life. I was too blasted to remember much. But I do remember some. I posted a few memories on Messyoptics.com. I've been trying to collect pics. from online. Have you got any posted?
