I just boiled eggs for two hours

Omg I loved when my mom made those. I would eat the whole plate.

 

So nobody else has ever forgotten anything on the stove
One of my gfs in high school burned up her kitchen doing that, damn near burned down the house.

 

I left this muffin thing I was making in the oven for too long. I went to check on it, and it had caught fire hahaha :tongue:

 

Haha the crumbs in my toaster oven caught fire not long ago because I never cleaned it. Probably needs cleaning again. Eh, I'll wait....

The trick to make sure that the egg yolks don't get that grey film, is to remove them from the hot water, and put them in a pot of cold water. Works every single time.

 

I hard boil eggs all the time...... got to do it for cobb salads (diced hard boiled eggs are essential)......... and I love deviled eggs....... I cant believe that cate had no idea what hard boiled eggs were......

 

My friend CanaDanks goes hiking with me a lot..he moved to California from Quebec when he was 16..a couple of weeks ago we were on a gnarly hike...we stop for a break and I break out a hard boiled egg and offer him one and he said he had never had one..I laughed so hard, I am not sure why..but he ate it and like it...
