LOL that is insane, people really believe that?

    Totally agree with Maggie :)

Smokey: you have no reason to be ashamed, for every [expletive] who writes/thinks crap like that there are thousands of guys who see it as it is (ie complete crap) and are totally wonderful people.
Sure I'm a feminist, but I also love men. We're in this together.

Did anyone bother looking at his links and try to figure out whether he interpreted his sources correctly. I'm not sure that they're trying to say that women are stupid, just that feminism undermine's a girl's desire to learn mathematics. Naturally, this is going to piss off feminists, but just because it pisses off a feminist, doesn't mean that it was a anti-woman statement.

Now, if you look at the link for domestic violence, it is actually quite accurate--there are a number of studies that indicate that women are more likely to be violent towards their partner. These studies were used by feminists to substantiate their claims that women are victims of domestic violence, but the stats that showed women to be equally or more violent were ignored.

I'm not sure how it can be argued that providing legitimate and verifiable evidence to show that something does or does not exist can be deemed as an expression of hatred. Is it hatred against men when a woman uncovers evidence to show that 3% of women are victims of domestic violence at the hands of men? No. But evidently it is hatred against women when a man uncovers evidence to show that 3% of men are victims of domestic violence ay the hands of women.

Incidently, 92% of child custody cases are awarded to the wife. The man is only granted custody when the woman is clearly a mental case or wants nothing to do with the children. There are a number of men who have formed groups with the hopes of making the law more equitable, so that they have more access to their children. To simply dismiss them as child molesters is extremely ignorant, and more hate-based as anything on that website. Anyone who knows anything about this subject knows that the accusation of child molestation is a common ploy used in many divorces (most often by the wife), and so any claim that men's groups are filled with child molesters is more of a testament to the degeneracy of these men's ex-wives than it is to the men themselves.

    From the site....
"What is wrong with American men today that they don't see the tragedies set in motion by giving women legal rights?"

I suppose this statement isn't anti-woman either, huh? Goodness knows all those feminists out there are getting pissed off over nothing. It should be common knowledge (to men at least, we women are just too stupid to understand) that women should have no legal rights, and that the downfall of this country is all our fault. I mean, 50% divorce rate? Come on ladies, suck it up! You just need to learn to deal with a cheating, abusive husband, spread your legs, and then take you ass into the kitchen and cook dinner. </sarcasm>

Maybe you should have thought about it a little longer before you used that as an example; that statement neither says that women are stupid or that women shouldn't have legal rights. What it says is that men fail to grasp the fact that feminism contributes to an increase in divorce, the breakdown of the nuclear family, increased rape, murder, suicide rates, declining educational standards, etc. Feminism is an ideology, and as such it has numerous negative aspects; and the statement simply criticizes men for ignoring them and not speaking up about it.

Incidently, your hyperbolic statement at the end of your post is a prime example of one of these negative sides of feminism. Feminists tend to make dubious and outrageous statements, hence they undermine the cause that thet claim to stand for. It also validates what they're arguing on the website, since your statement also reflects the declining educational standards in the west, which has caused reading comprehension levels to decline markedly.

Not 92%. More than men, but that is because LESS men ask for or contest custody. In CONTESTED custody cases (meaning the man actually asked for the kids himself) 79% of the cases were awarded to the fathers. The reason more womyn have custody is that less men contest.

And your "reasons" for father custody are totally off base. Basically, most father awarded custody cases have nothing to do with the womyn's sanity, it has only to do with the fact that the father asked for custody. If the mother wanted custody, there would be CONTEST. I was talking only about CONTESTED cases, not total cases. In cases where the mother doesn't contest, the father gets the kdis, only if he asks for them. The stat I presented was ONLY contested cases.

Sorry...I lost it there for a minute....

I didn't mean any disrespect to DECENT men...

I just got an eye full of that idiot's website, and it really set me off...

I'm NOT a 'Man-Hating' feminist, and I know the problems of our troubled world don't rest squarely on the shoulders of men, however...The track record is pretty evident: for as long as we have lived in a MALE DOMINATED society, with no room for reason or compassion...this is what we've become...AS A WHOLE, NOT INDIVIDUALLY. Men AND Womyn have created this chaos -- neither one is soley responsible, so that guy should stop casting Aspersions.

I totally get you! My mother, MY OWN MOTHER, is anti-feminist.
She raised me to be intelligent, well-read, compassionate, and logical...why?....so that one day I could help my husband with his business concerns after I mopped the fucking kitchen floor.

It's not right but it is alive, this view that "women are the weaker vessel."

In the Bible it says for men to TREAT their wife as if she were the weaker vessel....basically to do the heavy stuff for her....not to treat her as ignorant....

But that site was fake....it had to be...in the left margin was a hand "choking a chicken"

What you're saying is, as usual, complete nonesense. And not surprisingly, you provide absolutely NO support for your claim. Custody is almost always awarded to the mother--there is NO disputing this fact. The fact that some men don't fight for custody is obvious: it's a foregone conclusion that he won't win, unless the woman states explicitly that she wants nothing to do with the child, or that it's shown that she's a complete mental case.

Sorry, but you have an extremely depraved understanding of humanity and history if you think that there has been "no room for reason or compassion" because our society has supposedly been "male dominated". Essentially what you are saying is that men are devoid of such emotions, and that women have had absolutely no influence on our society and culture. Wow!--that's ignorant. And then to suggest that the problems that we have in this world basically are the fault of "male domination". Well, I'm not going to deny that women were excluded from positions of power and responsibility, nor am I going to deny why this was the case; unfortunately, a number of feminists fail to remember this when they rail against "patriarchy" and all the supposed problems that it's caused, and allude that somehow a "female dominated" society would function better. Yeah, right. I'm sorry, but there's much to suggest that a female dominated society would be equally beset by problems, and no doubt just as oppressive and ridden with inequalities.

    Right On, Hippy Freek!

You are right on the money, Honey!;)

Actually, your Mom, Anti-feminist, or not, did a SWELL job raising you, and it shows....
Quite a bit of insight for someone so young...I am duly impressed, littile sister.

Oh Yeah, I saw that stupid caption 'choking the chicken': you're theory could be right -- they could be only trying to get a rise out of people. Well...it's working...

Obviously, you missed the point of what I was saying...don't twist my words to make your point -- THAT'S IGNORANT...

For your information, I DON'T believe men are SOLEY responsible for the problems of this world --that isn't what I said. Nor do I suggest that a Feminine dominated society would'nt have it's own monumental problems.

We are ALL responsible for the state we're in globally...God knows, NONE of us would be able to function in a world full of PMS-ing, MAN-HATING, feminists at the helm either.

For as far back as history takes us, we have been shown that BRUTE FORCE, and the need to CONQUER, RAPE, AND PILLIAGE are mainly MALE dominated claims to fame...how many womyn have we learned about with the same track record??? -- maybe a few; but none that have been awarded the notariety of HITLER, STALIN, SADDAM, etc...

Granted, these are extreme examples -- these guys are lunatics...

On the plus side, we have wonderful examples of phenominal men who HAVE made a positive difference in our world: JFK, MLK, GHANDI etc..

The fact is, HISTORY HAS reflected a world MAINLY dominated by men.

Maybe if there was more of a balance of power, we could make better strides: The strong analytical/logical traits that are prevailent in men are necessary to balance the strong emotional/nurturing traits that are prevailent in womyn.

That doesn't mean that there are non-compassionate men, or illogical womyn, what I'm saying is BALANCE IS THE KEY --NOT ONE-SIDED DOMINATION.

By the way, some of the most compassionate people I know are men, and some of the most conniving, self-serving people I know are women...
    BALANCE, MY BROTHER, BALANCE...

Some facts about Custody, Domestic Abuse ect.

Myth -- Family courts are biased against fathers in custody disputes.

Fact: "Despite the powerful stereotypes working against fathers, they are significantly more successful than is commonly believed. The
    Massachusetts
[gender bias] task force, for example, reported that fathers receive primary or joint custody in more than 70 percent of contested cases."

Schafran, Lynn Hecht, "Gender Bias in Family Courts," American Bar Association Family Advocate, Vol. 17, No. 1, p. 26

Ruth I. Abrams & John M. Greaney, Report of the Gender Bias Study of the Supreme Judicial Court [of Massachusetts] 62-63 (1983), also citing similar finding from California and other parts of the nation.

Fact: "The various gender bias commissions found that at the trial court level in contested custody cases, fathers won more than half the time. This is especially significant in light of the fact that not only do fathers win more often in court when they take these cases to trial, but also that an overwhelmingly higher percentage of fathers gain primary custody -- by any means -- than were ever the primary caregiver of their children during marriage. Statistically, this dashes the argument that 'only the strongest cases are taken to trial,' and in fact indicates an extraordinary bias against mothers and the value of mothering and mothers' work."

liznote re the more than 40 state gender bias task force reports. Available from the National Judicial Education Program,
9 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10013.

There are no courts in Maryland where the mother has an automatic edge in litigation. The fathers win in at least half of the litigated cases

    Facts about Domestic Abuse from

    http://wadt.org/whyshecannotleave.htm

Myth: Abuse stops when the woman leaves the abuser.

    FACT:

Abuse actually may increase when the woman is attempting to leave and after she has left because the abuser can see that he is losing control of his victim. He will not back down -- he will increase the severity, frequency, and methods of abuse as a means of re-establishing his power and control over his victim.

This period is the most dangerous period for an abused victim. The severest abuse, including murder, occurs during and after the period of separation. Other forms of abuse common during and after separation are stalking, obscene telephone calls, harassment at the woman's workplace, kidnapping or attempted kidnapping of children from school or daycare and his refusal to return them until the woman agrees to the man's demands, and making false allegations of child abuse against the woman. In cases where the custody dispute has lasted years, and the woman has remarried or has become involved with another man, the abusive ex may allege that child abuse is being committed by her partner.

This tactic is described in Timothy J. Horgan's "Winning Your Divorce: A Man's Survival Guide" (Plume/Penguin Book, 1994). If she alleges he committed child sexual abuse and/or domestic violence he may insist that she is suffering from "Parental Alienation Syndrome." He may attempt to break in to her home, vandalize her property, slash her tires, and attempt to break into her car. He may also claim that she was abusing him should she file for an order of protection against domestic violence.
